We attended the weaving experience with our 2 daughters aged 7 & 11 and we all loved it so much. The teacher made the instructions so easy to follow, from choosing the colours to each completing a table runner. Such a special memory for our trip and perfect momento to take home. We recommend it highly. Thank you!!!
the process was smooth and easy. the instructor set up the warp and we just had to weave the weft. we were taught to use the shuttle, and before that given free choice to pick our skeins for weaving. we were also given 2 free coasters and 2 friendship bracelets at the end of the workshop which was a very nice touch. the studio was also very cosy to be in.
This was the cutest and best activity I’ve done in japan. The host was so lovely and you leave with a scarf you weaved yourself with colours you chose. Highly recommend!
This is my top Osaka experience! Totally worth every peso. You are not just bringing home a very personalized souvenir but you are also helping a community of people with special needs as Saori is also a organization employing PWDs. Super great experience!!! So happy I spent my birthday here!
I had a great time here. The staff were friendly and general clear in their instructions with limited English. There were options of making a table mat or scarf, and I chose the shorter table mat because I wasn't confident in my weaving abilities. It ended up looking pretty good! It does take a long time though, so be prepared to sit and work on it for a while. I was pleasantly surprised by how much it ended up costing - the materials are very light and I would say the price is good. It ended up costing less than ¥1,000 for my table mat. Glad to have experienced this, and I would definitely recommend anyone who's interested in handmade stuff! That said, the location is a little harder to find, tucked away in an alley. Use GPS!
The location was easy to find and even though the space is a little small, my mom and I felt comfortable 😊 We enjoyed being creative and being able to create a truly unique souvenir! The staff was patient and would help if we got stuck....
went for the 10:30am class and the staff was kind enough to let me in 10 minutes early. the male staff there could speak english so he was able to explain the process very well and clearly! even though the lady there couldn't speak english, she was still very kind and helpful and guided me throughout the whole process. overall the atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful. i made a scarf which only added up to 2700¥ in total :)
This was the ultimate Osaka experience! Totally worth every peso. Not only do you take home a very personalized souvenir, but you also help a community with special needs. Such an awesome experience! This was the cutest and greatest activity I’ve done in Japan. The host is so lovely, and you get to leave with a scarf you've woven yourself, in colors of your choosing. Highly recommend!
This is an experience I've always wanted to try - being a weaving girl! 😁 It's simple and easy to learn, and the teacher is very patient in guiding you. You'll feel a great sense of accomplishment when you weave your own tablecloth or scarf. I highly recommend it to anyone who's curious about looms.
I was scheduled for the 10:30am session and arrived two minutes before it started. I had a lot of fun doing this workshop! It took more than two hours to finish my scarf. The staff were really nice and accommodating ⭐️ would love to do it again someday ☺️
