Spent the day in Yokohama and this was my finale. The view at the top is absolutely wonderful, 360° view of the city, a little bar and a library, with seatings areas. If you are nearby or in town, it’s definitely worth it.
A fantastic experience and highly recommended. We took the Sea Bass ferry from Yokohama Station to the Hammerhead pier. From there we took the Yokohama Air Cabin Bus to the Landmark Tower. A perfect combination to quickly and efficiently connect various sights.
An excellent observation tower to admire Yokohama skyline. Many will start to crowd at the side facing the ferris wheel at sunset/night so keep this in mind if you want to secure a good spot for viewing. I visited in end Nov 2024 and there was a small Marvel display which made the ticket even more worthwhile.
After buying tickets you can open a pdf with a link. Clear instructions not to touch the link bc you can accidentally activate the ticket. How to redeem the voucher? Instructions say you should show it to the staff at the tower. So we got around the queue for buying tickets and walked to the entrance (this is how we used the link in the past). The lady opened the link and led us back to the queue. First it looked like she will just redeem the tickets for us. But no! After 5min of dealing with her, she just send us to the back of the queue. Never mind the time. But we looked like arrogant tourists wanting the skip the line. So maybe this information will help you, you need to get a paper ticket (and wait in the line) and only this paper ticket can be used at the entrance. This is Japan for you :))) Anyway the tower is great. Great view of the harbour, of several landmarks in Tokyo and Mount Fuji, if you are lucky (we were not). We enjoyed the Star wars / Marvel exhibition very much. And you need to try Sky float at the café. So yummy!
I immediately got a wow feeling when I stepped out of the elevator on the 69th. There is a spectacular view on the Harbour, the city and Tokyo and Mount Fuji (if you're lucky) and panels above the windows explain what to see where. There are some benches to enjoy the view while seated, even with a coffee or so if you wish. We visited around 6pm on a bit drizzling July day and there were only a few other visitors, while the view was OK. Klook gave a small discount on the ticket. Time efficient to combine it with a visit to the adjacent sailing ship and port museum and some lunch in the Landmark Plaza downstairs. Easy to reach from the train station via a walking bridge.
Excellent spot to view the entire Yokohama city & Bag Area; ticket redemption was straightforward using the QR code generated by Klook. Spectacular panoramic views of Yokohama (might be the best viewing spot in the city)
Lift reaches the maximum speed of 750 meters per minute to the top and offers you excellent views around Yokohama city. On the top there was a cafe and souvenir shop. Using the voucher sent to the klook app to exchange for a physical ticket to gain access.
One of the best tower in Japan. The view is breathtaking, you can see everything. You can spend 30-40 minutes there just watching the beautiful sky and landmark. Highly recommend!
