JR Tokyo Wide Pass

really value for money and easy to use. just redeem at JR Train Centre at Narita Airport. the staffs are friendly. can use it for narita express and all the jr trains in tokyo city. of coz i use it to echigo yuzawa and enjoy the bullet train daily basis.

So fun, we were able to see Gala Yuzawa, Atami and Kawazu Sakura, and around Tokyo (Shibuya-Harajuku-Shinjuku). You really have to go to JR Ticketing Stations though to reserve your seats especially for the shinkansen to/from Gala Yuzawa and the local/rapid trains to Atami/Kawazu. It is easier to let the staff reserve the seats rather than using ticket machine.

Good for anyone staying in Tokyo and keen for daytrips to places like Izu, Karuizawa, Tochigi etc. Really worth the price for a much adventurous and fruitful trip! After exchange the JR PASS, u could book tickets via the JR TICKET machine to avoid queues, convenient and hassle free. Highly recommended to those going Tokyo!

The JR Tokyo Wide Pass was super convenient and worth every yen! It made me travel around Tokyo and nearby areas like Mt. Fuji, Yokohama and Kamakura so easy and stress-free. Unlimited rides for a few days really saved time and money—highly recommend for anyone exploring beyond Tokyo! 🚄✨

Super worth for its price! I went to Gala Yuzawa, Mt. Fuji, Yokohama, and Kamakura using this pass. I saved a lot by using this instead of going on a tour. I also saved 3 days local train fares in tokyo area. This is a must have when youre planning a DIY Trip.

This pass was incredibly convenient and helped us save so much on transportation costs. We exchanged our vouchers at the JR East office in Ueno and were also able to reserve our Shinkansen seats there. The staff were very helpful and patient in guiding us through the process. We used it for trips to Kawaguchiko, Nikko, and Gala Yuzawa, definitely worth it!

Great value for money 👍 This pass makes day trips outside of the city more convenient and tourist friendly. Just remember that you need to redeem the voucher in JR East Travel Centers, not the Ticket Offices. Travel Centers open usually later, around 8am. If you are planning to go on the first shinkansen of the day, best to redeem the voucher the night before so you don't get stuck waiting for the travel center to open, like I did 😅. Gala Yuzawa qas great. Going to Nikko next. Make sure to get your days correct, as they don't reissue the tickets or reschedule.

Go to the JR Ueno ticket counter and exchange it for a 3-day unlimited JR ticket. You can choose to go to many places. We chose to go to Fuji Excursion with a 2-hour round trip, and Karuizawa. The Fuji train was quite full, even though we booked 2 days in advance.

This 3-day pass is very useful. On the first day, take the JR Joetsu Shinkansen from Ueno to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, then transfer to the GALA Yuzawa free shuttle bus to experience the fun of playing in the snow. On the second day, take the JR Tohoku/Hokkaido Shinkansen from Ueno to Utsunomiya Station, then transfer to the JR Nikko Line and get off at Nikko Station. Whether you take the paid shuttle bus to Toshogu Shrine or walk, you can enjoy the street scenery. There's also a Cheese Garden nearby where you can sample delicious cheesecake, and monkey-shaped Soppo-yaki that adds warmth in the cold winter. On the third day, take the Fuji Excursion from Shinjuku, but the direct tickets were sold out, so we had to go to Otsuki first to change trains, and then take the Fujikyuko Line to Kawaguchiko. Although it took longer, this Tokyo Wide Pass saved a lot of money and is the best choice for traveling to the suburbs of Tokyo.

must buy for all tokyo travellers 😁 u can see mount fuji, using shinkansen to gala, watching snow and playing ski on gala yuzawa. unlimited airport train from narita or haneda. using yamanote line and all jr east train. so worth it. i travel japan for four days and this thing help me so much to saving monry to go to almost every tourist destination. really a must buy for u guys 😁
