Reviews summaryA Tokyo Trip Highlight for Our Family! 🍣✨ Booking the Sushi Making Tokyo Roll and Authentic Japanese Sushi Class via Klook was completely seamless and easily one of the best highlights of our Tokyo vacation last July! I booked this for my husband, our 9-year-old daughter, and myself. Seeing our little girl fully immerse herself in the experience touched our hearts—she was focused, hands-on, and so proud of her creations. The instructors were incredibly sweet, professional, and engaging with everyone. We also loved connecting with other wonderful families from around the world. We learned so much about authentic sushi techniques, and we left with great memories, big smiles, and VERY full bellies! Highly recommended for families visiting Tokyo. Thank you Klook for making the booking process so smooth and hassle-free!
I joined this class hoping to learn the art of sushi making, and to my surprise, the session was conducted in a very fun and engaging way. Every step was clearly explained and patiently guided, which made the learning process enjoyable and easy to follow. I was impressed and proud of how the sushi turned out. Most importantly, I walked away not only with a full stomach, but also with a wealth of knowledge about sushi making—skills and insights I can bring back with me to Singapore.
My family had a really great time in the class. We learned new techniques, made a bunch of maki and nigiri sushi, and devoured it. The team doing the teaching was engaging and fun, and I’m so glad we did this.
So fun and very interactive. The staff is amazing and the food is very fresh and delicious. The staff is very nice and friendly. This class is a must if you love sushi and want to learn to make your own.
This became the highlight of our trip because of how much my wife and I love sushi! Learning how to make it and then eating what we made afterwards was very fun! KENSHIN was also a great mentor! a true Sushi Master Chef! If we could go back to the past and do it all over again for the first time we would!
My group had an excellent experience during our sushi making class. The staff was very kind and attentive. The sushi we made was delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a class to take while you are in Tokyo!
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The instructor was energetic, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the class both educational and fun. Their personality really brought the whole experience to life. The class itself was very hands-on and interactive, which made learning how to make sushi feel approachable and memorable. Beyond just cooking, we also gained great insight into Japanese culture, which added an extra layer of depth to the experience. Portions were generous—come hungry, because you’ll leave very full and satisfied. Overall, a fun, immersive, and worthwhile activity that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo.
The following was written by my 11 yr old daughter who really enjoyed this activity. I too, thoroughly enjoyed it, especially for someone who isn't extremely fond of raw sushi...it was SO good! Per my daughet, "The people were very kind and were helpful on what to do. They were professional. They all had a great sense of humor. The location was very easy to get to. The equipment was very good ,helpful, and clean. Everything was nice and safe. It would be good for kids too. I recommend people to go to this place."
We had a lovely experience at this sushi making class. The many positive reviews are not lying, it's a great class with a fantastic teacher (thanks Kenshin!). We had a small group, but I think this worked in our favour as Sushi Master Kenshin was able to spend more time explaining and demonstrating the process. If you're considering this class, I'd say it's worth the price as the instructions were clear, the portion sizes were large, and the vibes were immaculate! Thanks, Danielle & James from Leeds
The staff was great. We had the vegan option, which is why it's not a perfect score. Very tasty and informative, and the surroundings were great. Instead of fish, you get bell peppers and corn (which is very monotonous compared to fish; we would have liked tofu, avocado, or vegan mayo). But overall a great experience!!!
