I had such a great experience! I went solo while my husband was working and I had a great time with everyone else who attended. Miharu was our instructor and she was so sweet, funny, informative and engaging. I learned a lot about matcha (and how hard it is to perfectly whisk it!) and would feel comfortable doing it at home now. Great value for money and very fun, engaging class. Highly recommend!
Great experience, lovely and helpful staff. many thanks to Mana and Miu, I enjoy tasty match and learned the history of matcha in a very pleasant atmosphere
Wow! I always found making matcha so intimidating, but Midori and Kousuke made it so approachable. A history of matcha, how it's grown, picked, and created started the class. Then we moved into making our our own cup of matcha with such easy to follow instructions and a demonstration for each step and some really yummy snacks too. I absolutely would take this class again!
I can highly recommend this Matcha Making Lesson! I had so much fun and our instructors Mana ans Hanoka were amazing and so helpful! I was finally able to taste the real, full of flavor matcha🩷 Thank you!
I love the energy of the young team. Being young Japanese and seeing how deeply they are connected to and passionate about their culture really impressed me. I learned a lot through the short sharing and the Q&A session. The session intrigued me and sparked my curiosity, making me want to learn even more about Japanese culture.Well done, team & I would recommend to my friends visiting Tokyo in future.
We had an amazing experience at this class. We were a small group and we all got our questions answered and it was a comfortable space. Our teacher Mana was very engaged and patient with us newbies. We do really recommend this class, even if you have no experience or knowledge about matcha. (Also very nice sweets to the matcha!!)
Our instructor Mana was super friendly ans thought us how match was made and also the 7 step process in making matcha tea. We also had delicious mochi as well with the matcha tea. definitely recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo to stop by and check it out. Great for experience with kid.
Had an enjoyable experience at the workshop, situated just a walk away from the Senso-ji temple in Asakusa. The facilitator was young (she spoke gen z here and there) and knowledgeable, her presentation was accompanied with PPT slides, giving visual reinforcement which we appreciated. The place was air-conditioned and comfortable, giving us a respite from the July heat! Two thumbs up!!
Enjoyed the class and bonding with my son. The class was conducted in clear and friendly manner and it was so yummy. Strongly recommend and booking through klook made it so easy!
This was a very pleasant experience. The class was quick but informative, and they clearly demonstrated the proper way to prepare matcha. The instructors were extremely friendly and spoke excellent English, which made everything easy to follow—a huge plus when traveling in Japan. It’s a fun little getaway that doesn’t take up much time and is well worth checking out. I didn’t take the sushi-making class upstairs, but it looks like something you could easily pair back-to-back for two great experiences in a short amount of time.
