Pixel Lab Tokyo: Gameboy Mod Workshop (Original/Advance/SP)

loved my experience making a customized GBA! the screen is so bright and perfect for playing old games with hurting the eyes. the instructor was very nice and accommodating, don’t be scared to try this out if you’re not tech savvy!

A unique experience. For anyone who wants to remember what it's like to be a child and feel the joy of having a new Game Boy. Bin was incredible at helping and sharing knowledge, an excellent teacher.

The workshop was an incredible experience with an incredible satff and hospitality. It’s an inviting, homei, and comfortable atmosphere suitable to all skill levels in the gameboy modding community. My session was one on one so it lasted about an hour and 30 minutes, less than it would for a bigger group of up to 6-8 people. While the workshop might seem pricy, I would say it’s very fairly priced for not only the experience you get of modding your own console, but also the hospitality, the fact they have so many options to choose from for cases, buttons, pads, and much more. If you ever get the chance to go, I would highly recommend going to Pixel lab with Bil as your guide, he’s a great teacher and incredibly friendly.
