The tour was incredible! We paid for the full package, but it ended up just being my group. Our guides, Mick Watanabe and Michiko, were super friendly, kind, and personable. Their English was amazing, and they even tried to speak a few words in Spanish. They recommended food to us, and the history of the temple was very comprehensive. I highly recommend this experience, and I hope future guests who book get Mick and Michiko as their guides.
Yoshi-san was an amazing tour guide and went above and beyond my expectations! She was able to teach me about the history of Senso-ji and answered all my questions. She was also extremely interested in learning more, as she would ask me questions about Hinduism to find connections with Buddhist ideals. After the trip ended, she asked me if there was anything else I was interested in and promptly gave me a list of things to do and places to see. I would highly recommend doing this tour with Yoshi-san!
Toshy was very friendly and informative. She made sure to explain everything and stopped for questions. The pace was leisurely and enjoyable. She also stopped and took picture of us. I would recommend this tour for those interested in learning the history of Asakusa
we did the Asakusa store and it was AMAZING. So informative. Yukari was such a good guide and she moved at a pace that was suitable to us. Also helped us take our photos which was a plus 😁
We had a lovely time exploring Sensoji and the surrounding area with Yukari. It was a great way to learn about the history and culture while discovering places we might otherwise have missed. A wonderful experience and a great introduction to Tokyo!
