What to expect
Kiyotsu Gorge is one of Japan's three great gorges. The towering cliffs along the Kiyotsu River form a magnificent V-shaped valley, and the majestic rock faces with columnar joints and the emerald green mountain stream are a must-see. The Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel is 750m long and offers views of the beauty of the valley from three observation points and the Panorama Station (Mirror of Water) at the tunnel's end. Enjoy the seasonal scenery, including the soft fresh greenery of the valley, the cool mountain streams, the vibrant autumn leaves, and the ink painting-like scenery of winter. There is also an exhibition corner in the tunnel that introduces the natural beauty of Kiyotsu Gorge and its seasonal landscapes.

A must-visit attraction. As soon as you exit Echigo-Yuzawa Station, you'll see the tourist information center. The staff speaks basic English, and the bus transfers are very convenient. A must-buy.
The travel agency staff are friendly, and the transportation is convenient with direct access to Kiyotsu Gorge, ensuring punctual round trips. It's a great place for taking photos, the design is beautiful, and it's worth visiting.
It was fantastic little tour! The long tunnel had a few outlets decorated artistically, which were perfect for pretty photo-shots. It only took about 2.5 hours total; it would be a good getaway from Echigo Yuzawa during non-snowing seasons. Highly recommend!!
Yeah. The trip was so awesome and convenient, too. The office of the tour agency is just 3 minutes by foot from Echigo Yuzawa Station west exit. Overall the trip was so enjoyable.
Don't ask, just buy it. A must-visit attraction, you can leisurely watch and take photos. The toilets are very special.
Actually it is more of a driver than a tour guide that brings us to the place. It is ok. The kiyotsu gorge has some art installations and is great and bus driver was polite.
The meeting place in front of Echigo-Yuzawa Station was easy to find, the bus was on time, and the length of stay was just right. I'm very satisfied.
It takes about an hour and a half, which is plenty of time. The car is quite new and is easy to find right after you exit the west exit of Echigo-Yuzawa Station.
You'll see the travel agency right outside the station. You can pick up your bus tickets immediately, and they'll explain how to use them in detail! When it's time, you'll see the blue bus in front of the station!! Round trip is very convenient!! The drivers are always on time and waiting to depart!! It's really perfect for independent travelers!!
