Mount Rokko Ski & Snowboard Day Trip

Very close to Osaka city, about a 1.5-hour drive. It's perfect for beginners to practice the basics, and there's also a snow play area for kids, which is safe and convenient!

We are very grateful for this package tour. The travel agency will arrange the transportation according to the number of people. This time we were a group of 7, and the travel agency arranged a comfortable 9-seater to take us to Mount Rokko. The tour guide led us to pick up tickets and equipment, and after explaining all the precautions, we were free to explore until 4:00 PM when we gathered back at the parking lot.

Close to Osaka city, it's a great place to experience skiing. Even if you don't ski, you can still come and play with sleds. It's suitable for adults and children to travel together, and you'll get a full snow country experience.

Initially, we were worried the kids wouldn't ski, but the travel agency thoughtfully offered an option to just take the bus together. Then, we rented the necessary equipment after arriving at Mount Rokko.

The transportation is very convenient, and it's about an hour from Osaka city. The ski package includes ski equipment, ski wear, and lift tickets. The slopes are very suitable for beginner skiers.

Take the Kintetsu Shinsaibashi Line from Exit 2 directly to Mount Rokko, arriving at 9:14 AM. Change equipment at 9:40 AM and ski until a little after 4:00 PM. The departure time for the return trip is 4:20 PM.

The meeting point was crowded with many tour groups departing, and as a result of booking tickets separately from my family, we were assigned to different vehicles. The day before departure, heavy snow in the mountains caused snow accumulation on the roads, making it difficult to ascend. The driver and tour guide got out to install snow chains, and we only proceeded smoothly after stopping for about half an hour. The tour guide was helpful and told us the locations for booking classes and renting costumes.

A family of three joined the tour, and the guide was kind, courteous, and explained everything clearly. We had a great time, and the tour bus was comfortable throughout the journey.
