The ride was beautiful. Although they put us on the wrong boat, they were very accommodating and corrected the error quickly. We had a great time. Lots of photo opportunities on the ship.

book this instead of the pirate ship!!! while on the boat, I looked over across the harbour and saw probably 200 people getting off of the pirate ship… my mom and I boarded the pleasure boat with no more than 15 people, and we basically had the boat to ourselves. so tranquil!!!

This is a must-try experience when visiting Hakone. Standing on the deck and admiring the beautiful surrounding scenery is wonderful. Drinks are sold on board at regular prices, so you can order and enjoy them. On the day I went, I met a very friendly Vietnamese saleswoman.

I personally think this is even better than the Pirate Ship. The Pirate Ship is more crowded, but this one is mostly local classes. It's perfect for families with kids, with lots of swings and tatami mats to lie down and sit on. If you buy a round-trip ticket, be careful not to get off the boat in the middle, otherwise your original ticket will be void and you'll have to buy a new one.

We operate “Daichakai,” themed around tea, and “SORAKAZE,” themed around a green park floating on the lake! Both vessels are catamarans, supported by two hulls, offering excellent stability and the spaciousness of two ships. From the observation deck, in particular, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view, including the Peace Torii Gate of Hakone Shrine and, on clear days, the magnificent Mount Fuji. *The 40-minute cruise is exclusively on “SORAKAZE.” With a one-day free pass, you can also board “Daichakai,” which operates a 70-minute cruise route. However, due to inspections or other reasons, only one vessel may be in operation. Please check the official website for operational information.
