Great experience today on our trip to the Great Wall! Michael was a good guide and the cooler weather combined with clear skies were amazing! definitely do the cableway up and tabogan down if you can handle the walking and climbing.

To truly understand the purpose and history of each palace, you need to follow a guided tour through the Forbidden City from beginning to end. The Palace Museum is truly immense, and having someone explain things is essential to clearly grasp the historical background of each courtyard you visit. From the grand halls where court was held to the courtyards of the imperial concubines in the rear palace, and the absolutely beautiful imperial gardens, the emperors and empresses of old certainly lived a life of luxury! 🌟

Really enjoyed the whole tour experience, as our guide Allen was super cheerful despite us having to go through the tour on one of the hotter days in Beijing. Gotten really nice pictures and recommendations in the Forbidden City as well. Side note, please come well prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, cap/umbrella if you’re intending to do this tour during summer months as you’d spend at least 30 minutes going through the security check under the sun.

Loved this tour, our guide Susie was informative and clear. I initially only booked the hotpot lunch + night tour of the Great Wall but added on the daytime tour as well (so I ascended twice, once during the day and back down, and the second time when the night entry opens). Really beautiful and day, but can be physically demanding so plan accordingly.

Yuly was an amazing guide. tour was well organised, helped us book additional activities and was very clear on instruction for all guests to understand. Visiting the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China was an unforgettable experience! The views of the Great Wall stretching across the mountains are absolutely breathtaking. It is amazing to walk along this historic landmark and appreciate the incredible architecture and rich history behind it. The surrounding mountain scenery makes the experience even more spectacular and offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful photos. The cable car ride is a convenient option for reaching the wall, especially if you want to save energy for exploring. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as there are plenty of steps and uphill sections

Jesse explained the itinerary throughly and kept things simple and easy which is appreciated. She was happy to answer any questions and communication was great. Beautiful part of the Great Wall only con on this experience was it ran later than expected due to latecomers and traffic and it meant when we got to the summer palace it was dark quite quickly.

Our tour guide Michael was very accommodating and knowledgeable! The Mutianyu Great Wall is well worth the visit! Our family took both the cable car round trip and the chair lift and toboggan to see different stations. What a wonderful experience!
