Fantastic 5.0
This is a tour by public transportation and the group is kept very small. we only have three members on the tour. The guide Isabella is very clear in her explanation. She has lots of positive energy.

Fantastic 5.0
Very surreal experience. Very informative, enlightening and deeply heartfelt. The way in which the museum has collated artifacts that depicted a time in their history of tragedy, even many years thereafter, truly humbling experience. It may not be for everyone, but highly recommend along with the audio guide is a must. I suggest museum first and then walk around the park after. It makes you appreciate the surrounds more with informed understanding.

Fantastic 5.0
While it's not a full 360-degree view, you can see all the main sights here. There's a spot on the first floor and also upstairs. It's a great place to relax until evening after buying a lemon drink. For the night view, you can go up when it operates as a bar, but I didn't go up. It's quite high up, so the breeze was cool, but the bars made it a bit difficult to take good photos. Still, it's a nice place to relax while looking out over Hiroshima city. If you choose the origami option, you can go down a floor to fold a paper crane and drop it, and they'll even take a picture for you if you hand them your phone.

Fantastic 5.0
It was wonderful. I spent about an hour and a half resting and taking a walk. Other than using a parasol because the sun was a bit strong in between, it was really nice because there was shade from the trees and a cool breeze. I'd love to go back in the autumn when the leaves change color, as it must look amazing.

Fantastic 5.0
My biggest takeaway from using the Hiroshima Enjoy Pass this time was how "convenient and cost-effective" it was. I initially bought it just to try it out, but after using it, I found that it effectively saved me money on everything from sightseeing and shopping discounts to transportation. From visiting Itsukushima Shrine and strolling through Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park to buying souvenirs around Hiroshima Station, every use was incredibly smooth – all I had to do was show the mobile pass. For travelers like me who prefer to plan their own itinerary and don't want to rush, the flexibility of using it within seven days was especially practical. Overall, the Hiroshima Enjoy Pass not only saved me money but also added a sense of ease and relaxation to my trip. It's a practical pass I'd highly recommend to first-time visitors to Hiroshima.

It was super fun, I'd definitely go again. There was a rapper performing, and drinks were about 800 yen each. There's a smoking area to the left of the stage. The DJ was great.

Established in 809, this serene haven is named after the three enchanting waterfalls that grace its grounds, symbolizing peace and natural beauty. As you wander through the temple, you'll be greeted by the striking two-storied pagoda, a poignant memorial for the souls lost in the Hiroshima atomic bombing, relocated from Wakayama in 1951. Whether you're seeking solace or a connection to the past, Mitaki-dera offers a profound experience amidst its lush surroundings.

Jizo Statues

Discover the mystical charm of Mitaki-dera through its numerous Jizo statues, guardians of women, children, and travelers. These stone figures, adorned with bright red bonnets and bibs, are nestled throughout the temple grounds, their moss-covered surfaces adding to the serene and contemplative atmosphere. As you explore, let the presence of these protectors guide you through the temple's peaceful paths, offering a unique glimpse into the spiritual heart of this sacred site.
