Hotels near Umekōji Park

The hotel was super cozy and comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Better than some higher-star hotels I’ve stayed at. Excellent value for money with a great location. Highly recommend!

From the moment you step in, it has a distinct Kyoto feel. Everything from check-in to your stay to check-out was very comfortable! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel is quite close to Kyoto Station, and there are two or three restaurants right outside, with a 7-Eleven next door. The front desk is almost always staffed, and the employees are very polite and helpful. You can also store your luggage if you arrive too early. As for the room, the door uses a Yale digital lock, which makes opening and entering very convenient. You can easily open two 30-inch suitcases without any problem. Plus, the room was surprisingly quiet; I stayed for three days and never heard any noise from outside, so I slept very soundly! My room even had a direct view of Kyoto Tower, which was absolutely beautiful! I genuinely recommend this hotel; it's budget-friendly but offers excellent quality. Definitely five stars!

This was a perfect hotel for a family of five. Our boys enjoyed sleeping on the futon. There was a kitchenette and washer/dryer which was very convenient. The staff was very welcoming and helpful especially when I needed to transport my luggage to Tokyo. It is also walking distance to the train stations especially the Kyoto Station. We would definitely stay here again!

Staff was extremely helpful when we needed assistance. Breakfast buffet, though not included, was generous. The king room was modern and very clean, but space was tight.
