It's a bit of a shame that the Mt. Omuro cable car was closed due to rain, so I couldn't go up Mt. Omuro. However, the Cactus Animal Garden at the foot of the mountain was quite nice. Actually, the entire route is along the coast, so taking the ocean-view train isn't really necessary and it even makes the itinerary tighter. Because it was a small group, the driver also acted as the tour guide, but there wasn't much of an introduction throughout the whole trip.

Very nice trip, I collected lots of memories with Guide Andy (he was really very kind and hospitable, even gave us a cookie, a kind of good gesture) and my fellow travellers. It's a must visit especially the train ride.

Today’s weather was perfect for the trip. Our guide, Carter Sasaki, was really enthusiastic. We spent most of our time on the road as the distance to our destination was far, but he kept the atmosphere lively and was sharing about Japan culture. He helped to take good photos too. Wish we had more time to spend at Mt Omuro though. It was an amazing place with breathtaking views. It was definitely the highlight of this trip. Second was the beautiful Jogasaki Coast. The trip went smoothly and we managed to cover every spot planned in the itinerary.

The tour guide and driver for this trip was Andy, and he managed the time very well. While he wasn't the type to enthusiastically introduce history and culture on the bus, his calm demeanor allowed me to quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. As for the Izu sightseeing spots, whether it was the mountains or the coast, most of them were great, beautiful, and dependent on luck (weather). The only thing I wasn't so keen on was the tourist train. Most of the route goes through tunnels, and the time when beautiful sea views are visible from the window is actually quite short, so I personally don't think it's very worthwhile. If there's a next time, I wouldn't choose a tour with a tourist train. Sharing my experience for your reference!

What a fantastic tour today! It was absolutely picture perfect. Our wonderful guide, Ko, made the experience even better with full explanations and fascinating information about Mt. Omuro and the Jogasaki Coast. It was truly spectacular.
The highlight of the day was taking the cable car up Mt. Omuro, followed by the breathtaking walk around the crater. This is truly a must see and having Ko as your guide makes it even more special. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mt Omuro is nice with chairlift up. Jogasaki coast is beautiful too. The only disappointment is that we don't get a chance to go eat any of the food along rhe whole coastal area of fresh seafood. Understandably it is a long drive away from tokyo. would like to stay around here next time.

The location is a bit far, and the ride is long, but the beautiful scenery is worth the wait. Thank you to the tour guide for the detailed explanations and attentive service.

an amazing day! loved the nice van and small tour. loved the ocean drive most the way. loved the ride up the big green mountain and the walk at the top, then don’t miss feeding the Capybaras at the zoo. also do the boat ride to the lemur island. they jump on you and you feed them. eat there is you can or get food to go at some point. it’s a packed day. we took a train for a ocean view (but. it needed because our whole day was driving along the coast), then we went to this amazing area with coastal rocks and a suspension bridge. great photos! then finally a stop at a fishing village to grab a bite or some ice cream. our driver Taka took great care of us. this was way worth the money and a really beautiful day. highly recommend.
