Things to do in Yufu

First time using Klook • Solo Japanese participant • Limited multilingual skills. I signed up bracing myself for 100% feeling out of place! But the tour guide made it a happy experience! They greeted me with a huge smile and showed me to the bus, saying, 'Don't worry, it'll be alright!' True to their word, they were attentive to each person throughout the entire tour, provided information before reaching each destination, and incorporated elements learned from past experiences and a great sense of humor! They were fluent in Japanese, English, and Chinese. Front row seats (limited availability) + fee → According to the guide, since there were fewer participants this time, they were able to prepare seats with plenty of space in front and beside them! I had a great view of the scenery while driving, so I was very lucky this time and it was a great decision to book! But, that doesn't mean it will be the same next time. It depends on luck! Lastly, I've always preferred planning my own trips, but thanks to the tour guide, I was able to open a new door, and I'd like to participate in a bus tour again if I have the chance. Thank you to the tour guide and driver! ✨

this was such a fantastic tour. very laid back. good thing i chose tuesday for the tour. luckily there were NO traffic at all! travel to Yufuin from Dazaifu was less than 1.5hrs. WANG our tour guide was such a sweet gal. although if i can suggest one thing - i wish she’d wait a little longer when giving instructions to the group as soon as everyone is outside the bus. i just noticed that she gives instructions to 5-10 people even if most of the group are still on board the bus. we can only hear 1/4 of what she had discussed with the smaller group of people.

Our tour guide from GoGoDay Guide madam Lui, was very informative and engaging.She checked to ensure that everyone in the group following and provided food recommendations. she speaks in Korean language and Chinese language.

Seven is very attentive and give useful information during the trip, she also very kind to help everyone take the pictures, thumbs up for her. Amazing view from Kinrin Lake and enjoying many delicious Yufuin street food from this trip.

Guide 'Jjujju's' trilingual skills (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) are truly at a perfect native speaker level. This was the first overseas trip for my high school classmates who have turned 40. We still had some childlike innocence left, so we booked the tour because we really wanted to go to the safari. The atmosphere of the serene Yufuin, which was the first course, was so nice, and the safari, which was the next course, was more enchanting than expected, and the last hot spring course was perfect. The explanation and guidance throughout the tour were perfect, with nothing missing. The driver also felt like a veteran. We had such a good time that we regretted the time passing, and it was a tour that I would definitely recommend to others. Next time, I will definitely come back with my family (especially with my parents, it would be the best for a filial piety trip). I think we also met good people on the tour, and since we were a group of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English speakers, we were assigned two guides, both of whom were really the best. In particular, our Korean guide, 'Jjujju,' worked so hard and was so grateful for taking care of us immature people. It was my first Fukuoka trip, and I am grateful for making good memories. Yang explained the places in detail and always made sure we're complete. she was friendly and helped us when we needed assistance such as in taking pictures. The places we visited were all cool, great selection.

Today's tour was really fun. I was worried because the weather was cloudy in the morning, but it gradually cleared up, so I took a lot of great pictures. First, I went to the Umi Jigoku (sea hell), then the safari, and finally to Kawakami in Yufuin-cho. Kodama Rikuto's explanation was perfect, and the English explanation was easy to understand. He explained Umi Jigoku in detail, and at the safari, I was even able to see the cheetah, which is usually inside its enclosure. I was also very grateful that he sent Korean explanations of the origin and disasters of Kawakami in Yufuin-cho separately via KakaoTalk to the Koreans. He was a really great guide. Thank you. Thank you for sending me the restaurant you know via KakaoTalk at the end. I won't spread the word. 😆😆😆😆

Me and my friends went to this tour for our one whole day in Fukuoka, and it didn’t disappoint! We were able to go to the highlights of the tourist spots in Fukuoka, having ample time for each spot that we could take photos and explore freely. Our guide, Thomas was very helpful, showing and telling us tips left and right for a more efficient visit to each stop in the tour. Food recommendations, best toilets without queues, routes for explorations, you name it! He even sent out photos he took himself from his visits in the ropeway as digital postcards if we didn’t get the chance to take beautiful photos ourselves. (The last photo is his.) Overall, the experience was nothing short of perfect and we loved every minute of the tour 🤎

I had an amazing experience at Yufuin! I wish I had more time to walk around at the onsen, but I still managed to take some great photos. The mountain scenery was breathtaking, and the village itself was visually stunning. The highlight of my trip was the train ride back to Hakata station. If you’re in the Kyushu area, especially Fukuoka, I highly recommend visiting Yufuin.
