It was easy to buy, redeem and use. However I find that the bus drivers seem suspicious about this when showed. The train station staff was ok. And I realised there are people who shared this by logging into 1 account on their individual phones, which cause a queue at the train station due to them slowly log out and log in. overall this pass really saves you ¥ if you take a few of the bus rides at Kawagoe. If it's just to go Kawagoe to and fro then not worth it.

this was an easy one transfer ride from seibu shinjuku to kawagoe station and back! no hassle just went there, rode one train, and i’m at kawagoe in an hour. makes a day trip at the countryside very very accessible! plus it’s cheap for a roundtrip ticket!

Due to time constraints, I couldn't visit both Chichibu and Kawagoe, so I ended up going to Chichibu and Seibu-Kyujo-mae. Following everyone's advice, I added the limited express ticket for Chichibu, and it was definitely worth it! The train was super cute and comfortable, making the ride very enjoyable! Chichibu wasn't particularly lively since it wasn't during a festival, and many shops on the shopping street were closed (I heard they open in the evening? We went during the day), but it still had a charming atmosphere. I visited Hitsujiyama Park, but since it wasn't flower season yet, I just walked around. If you have time, you can enjoy the hot springs in front of the station (I didn't go this time). As it wasn't baseball season, I could only take photos outside the Seibu Lions Stadium, but the mini train that goes there was very cute; fans might want to check it out. Overall, it was a very convenient one-day pass! I hope to have the chance to see the Chichibu Night Festival and other places next time.

This pass is very useful, but the only drawback is that you have to go through a manned gate. Sometimes, other stations don't have staff, or the staff have already left for the day, so you have to use the intercom or just go through without assistance. Otherwise, this pass is extremely convenient for visiting Mount Takao, Enoshima, and Kawagoe. You basically just show the Tokyo Pass screen on your phone. You can depart from Narita Airport Terminal 1, 2, or 3 without any additional payment, and there's no charge when you return to your home country. It's completely free for 5 days from the date of use.

since the place is far from Tokyo most of the time was taken in the journey. However, The journey itself is very peaceful and scenic. The guide has given the instructions clearly and has been very helpful throughout the trip. major highlights are the Hoshino resorts and clock tower. We couldn't go to shrine,as we reached there after the closing time due to traffic. However there's a museum very near to clock tower that highlights the festival there. It was just 100 yen ticket to enter yet totally worth the experience.

We decided to rent a private car for a day trip to Kawagoe and I am so glad we did. Kawagoe Is the most charming little town with the most amazing shrine and cherry blossom views!! Loved this side quest!!

I wholeheartedly recommend Zhang Yanjin! This day trip to Kyoto's Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Okochi Sanso Villa, Kifune Shrine, and Sanzen-in Temple was an absolutely fulfilling experience, completely stress-free and rejuvenating. The various attractions are quite far apart, and public transportation transfers can be a real hassle. Thanks to Yanjin's excellent pre-planning of the optimal route, our time management was perfect. We never felt rushed, nor did we waste time waiting, allowing ample time at each spot for photos and leisurely exploration. At Sanzen-in Temple, he provided detailed explanations of its history and guided us to admire the moss-covered stone Buddha statues and garden scenery. At Kifune Shrine, he taught us how to experience the unique water fortune-telling and showed us the best spots for photos of the vermilion staircase lanterns. In the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and Okochi Sanso Villa, he led us away from the crowds to find quiet, picturesque corners, and even shared tips on local hidden culinary gems and things to avoid. He is incredibly gentle and patient, meticulously answering all our questions about routes, photography, and shopping. He drives smoothly and carefully, taking thoughtful care of everyone throughout the trip, with no rushing or hidden costs. This one-day tour connected ancient temples in the mountains with secret bamboo groves, offering a relaxed and comfortable itinerary without needing to plan anything ourselves. If you want a stress-free trip to Kyoto, I highly recommend Zhang Yanjin. I'll definitely book him again for my next Kansai trip!
