I specifically took the train to Taitung, but then arranged to drive around Taitung, and by the time I arrived in Chishang, I was questioning my decision! However, I'm so glad I included this experience; it was incredibly beautiful, fun, and a relaxing way to enjoy the scenery ❤️ You absolutely must visit Chishang! Highly, highly recommended. Being so close to both the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range was truly wonderful 👍

Jiaming Lake has always been on my life's must-do list. This time, I was fortunate to join the "Mountain Forest Secret Realm" tour, where leader Cheng-Feng guided us daily through challenging terrain to each scenic spot. Everyone got along well, and with the beautiful scenery and laughter, it was truly a worthwhile trip. Highly recommended.

For the night visit to see sika deer, you have to ride around everywhere to find them 🦌🦌🦌 Asahi Hot Spring is perfect for a night soak ♨️♨️♨️ Eat shaved ice at the Little Lighthouse on Green Island Street 🍧🍧🍧 It's scorching hot during the day 🫠🫠🫠 So we only go out at night to do activities 🤣🤣🤣

The communication a day before the tour was great. Klook rep contacted via whatsapp and Guide 陈先生 followed up with the contact. Guide was early and explained the itinerary before our set off, it ended up as a private tour was there wasn’t anyone else. 陈 took us on a relaxed and chilled ride, introducing us to the scenic spots and the way of life in taitung. Brother Lobster's night tour was incredibly interesting. First, he showed us a Patrick Star (a real starfish) and explained its biological characteristics. Then, he led our large group to stargaze; the Milky Way was beautiful, and the stars and constellations became super easy to identify with Brother Lobster's flashlight. Along the way, we also saw a 'devil flower' (also known as Barringtonia asiatica), which displayed vibrant colors and different appearances when illuminated by the flashlight at night. Later, on the way to Wugui Cave, we encountered a land crab heading back up the mountain. Brother Lobster took the opportunity to explain its reproductive characteristics and ecological conservation (apparently, thousands are run over on the roads each year). Finally, he explained the origin of Wugui Cave. It was a very meaningful and enjoyable tour.

The fresh milk products in the park are all delicious, and the park itself is quite clean. There are many honesty shops selling hay, which makes it very convenient to buy and feed the animals at any time. The park isn't very large, so I recommend visiting in the afternoon as there isn't much shade and it can get quite sunny. The animals are all well-cared for and look plump and healthy!
