Fantastic 5.0
boarded the ferry from Helsinki and the guide was waiting at a prominent area upon exiting the ferry in Tallinn. Sergei was our guide and he has such a good sense of humour. he makes a lot of effort to connect with the guests on the tour to help them contextualise the point he was trying to illustrate by giving examples of the various countries. he is highly knowledgeable and answers our questions happily. very attentive to guests needs as well. he even recommended us several Estonian restaurants serving authentic food and cautioned us of certain ‘traps’ that might not be authentic. Tallinn old town is charming and worth a visit if you’re into medieval towns . definitely 10/10, highly recommended!

Fantastic 5.0
It's close to the mall, and there's also a fruit stand nearby (the really cheap kind). Upstairs, there's a market with many food stalls. It's truly a one-stop shop, making it a very convenient place for foreigners who have just arrived in Tallinn.

It was great to be able to visit several museums and attractions with the Tallinn City Card. You can pick up the physical card at the tourist information center.

What to know before visiting Tallinn

Quick snapshot of Tallinn’s travel rhythm

Tallinn’s Klook bookings concentrate on outdoor and sightseeing experiences: tours, attraction passes, observation decks and museums lead the way. Demand has a strong high-season spike in July and eases toward winter, so the year swings between lively summer months and much quieter winter bookings.

Best times to visit and how prices move

Klook data show July is the clear peak month for visitor demand, while December sees the lightest booking activity. Prices move independently from demand at times: the priciest month by booking prices is February, while June is typically the cheapest for activities according to Klook. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider June or December; for full summer atmosphere and the busiest programme of activities, aim for July. Note that some shoulder months keep prices moderate even when demand is not at its peak.

Tips for travellers from Hong Kong

Most travellers from Hong Kong book activities roughly a week in advance on average, with some locking in plans earlier and last-minute options still possible a day out. If you’re visiting in July (the peak month), plan and secure popular tours a little earlier; for June or December you can be more flexible and still find lower-rate options on Klook. Browse tours and attraction passes on Klook to compare timing and choices before you go.
