Fantastic 5.0
Super cheap! Excellent value for money, the rooms are clean and tidy, with a sense of design. The rooms and bathrooms are also quite large. The triple room has three beds, so everyone has plenty of space. There are vending machines, washing machines (wash, dry, and tumble for ¥500/cycle), ice machines, etc., but there are no facilities such as a large public bath or observation deck. Instead, there are a bunch of wedding halls, but it doesn't affect the accommodation experience. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from Morioka Station, a ten-minute walk.

Fantastic 5.0
Great hotel overall especially for the price. The location is close to Morioka station with lots of restaurants nearby. The public bath on the roof is REALLY nice not only because of the outdoor bath but also the fact that the indoor windows can show you a view of Mount Iwate. One of the best parts of the public bath isn’t even inside it’s when you get out and they have free popsicles and an manga reading area! If you are also low on cash they have free half size miso ramen from 9 - 11 pm.

Fantastic 5.0
My recent stay was excellent! The room was spacious, bright, and clean, and the bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were complete, and the location was convenient for transportation. The exquisite and delicious breakfast was an added bonus. It offers great value for money, and I sincerely recommend it to everyone for a relaxing getaway.

Fantastic 5.0
This accommodation is very close to Morioka Station, and the Odori downtown area is also within walking distance. Although the room facilities are not new, they are very clean and odor-free. My only minor complaint is the location of the entrance/exit. One entrance requires walking around to the back alley, while the entrance facing the main road is the famous Morioka Reimen restaurant, Pyon Pyon Sha (which also has a back entrance). If you leave early or return late, you might encounter equipment placed outside. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about. It's a highly recommended stay with excellent value for money.

More about Morioka hotels

Staying overview

Morioka’s hotel prices show a tight spread between basic and premium options — roughly a 1.1× difference — so upgrading doesn’t explode your budget. The best balance for value-conscious travellers is the standard tier, which generally gives the most bang for your buck.

Hotel class comparison

Economy options sit just below the standard tier, offering the most affordable choice for travellers who prioritise price. The standard tier is the sweet spot for most visitors, balancing comfort and cost. The largest step up is from the standard tier to the premium tier, which represents the clearest decision point if you’re deciding whether to spend more for extra comfort. Premium rooms sit above the rest and suit travellers who want a noticeably higher-end stay without an enormous price jump.

When travellers from Hong Kong book

Rates peak in 8月 and hit their low in 1月, with the cheapest period the better fit for budget-led trips. Rooms are typically booked around 47 days in advance, so if you plan to travel in the priciest month it’s wise to lock in a room earlier; for shorter trips you can often stay flexible.
