Things to do in Penghu

The entire process was incredibly smooth. Even though we didn't catch any baby squid to add to the meal, we still got to enjoy hot and delicious squid noodles, and even brown sugar cake for dessert. We got to experience three local ingredients directly - highly recommended!

Island hopping requires a lot of energy and is tiring, but it's also very satisfying. I want to thank our guide, Echo, for her guidance. The stories were great and authentic, and her Taiwanese had a certain charm. It's truly a language that can be both down-to-earth and elegant.

Professional! They start with a lesson on land, and when you're out at sea, they pay special attention to students who are afraid of the water, which makes you feel very safe! They also introduce the marine life and coral reef restoration efforts. The instructor is young and handsome! 100 points!

The activity was snorkeling. I booked the afternoon activity the night before, and the staff called me immediately after booking to confirm the time, which was extremely efficient. The activity was very chill from beginning to end, relaxed and without excessive pressure. You could hold onto the buoy or swim on your own. Although the instructor wasn't the humorous and funny type as mentioned online, they were calm and reassuring. The whole activity was very comfortable!

The staff is friendly and polite. The seafood congee is just okay, the taste is pretty average, so one bowl is probably... enough. The all-you-can-eat grilled oysters are acceptable, the freshness is above average; some are sweet and fresh, while others taste a bit off, so it’s a bit of a gamble. There are simple amusement facilities on the boat 👍, and the scenery on the boat is comfortable 👍. The fishing experience is a very... very touristy experience...

Both Cimei and Wang-an islands offer scooters for touring and taking photos around the island. The time for each island is tight at under 2 hours. The boat ride to either island is 70 minutes one way, and many people get seasick and vomit if the waves are high. The return boat trip from either island is about 30 minutes.

A highly recommended day trip! If it's all adults, I recommend the Romantic Tour! This time, I chose the Super Value option with water activities in the morning and a guided intertidal zone tour in the afternoon. This is my second time participating!!

This is my second time visiting Penghu, and I feel so lucky to have experienced the South Penghu Marine National Park this time! It was really amazing. Our tour guide, Xiao Liu, was very dedicated and professional. He even helped us take beautiful pictures. It was such a wonderful day; all I can say is "amazing!"

This time, I brought my family to quickly learn about Penghu culture, and our first stop was the Penghu Living Museum. It mainly displays rich content related to Penghu's history, culture, and customs, and it is also a suitable indoor attraction for families to visit together. The museum uses real cultural relics, models, audio-visual multimedia, and life scene restoration to allow visitors to deeply understand the local life trajectory of Penghu. The tickets are very reasonable and it is really worth a visit 👍
