Fantastic 5.0

We took the kids on May Day, and it was incredibly crowded; we underestimated how popular Chengdu is. We still managed to visit several places in one day, and the local history and culture were very impactful. The food was also delicious. Even though there were a lot of people, it was worth it for the food and scenery.

Coming to Chengdu was all about having hotpot, and it was indeed delicious. The place the driver recommended was authentic, very local, and excellent. As for the attractions, Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Wuhou Shrine are rich in cultural heritage. Having a guide is essential; otherwise, you'd just be looking without understanding. With a guide, it's much more interesting. Overall, it was a fulfilling day (though there were too many people during the May Day holiday, so I had to find angles to take photos of empty spots).
