Staff were nice but the place is terrible. The elevator is extremely small. It only fits 2 adults and 2 large luggages at a time. The rooms on the 2nd n 3rd floors are very clean and modern with brand new doors, floors and great lighting in the hallway (I didn't get to see the inside of the rooms but I'm pretty sure they're nice and new as well). The 4th and 5th floor have old wooden doors, dark gray stained old carpet, and old amber lighting. Our room was on the 5th floor, and it smelled like urine. If you open the window, it smells like sewage. The AC fan was loud, there are marks on the wall, beds are old and small, window handle is broken, but the bathroom is decent. However, the shower rod fell off the hook by itself and almost hit my mom. Also, to get to the 5th floor, you'll have to take the small elevator from 0 to 4th, and then take an even smaller from the 4th to the 5th floor. This is definitely not a 4 star rating hotel. I would recommend requesting for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor if you choose to book this hotel. The 5th floor is like a motel 6 in the LA area where they used to house the homeless.

How this is a 4 star hotel is bemusing. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Advertise with a restaurant and a bar on its own website and on Hotels.com website amazing as both have been closed for 5 years. The corridors were filthy. Carpets were disgusting. All surfaces in the room were full of dust. Leaking toilet so water all over the floor. Double room was 2 single beds pushed together. No facilities in the room. Staff not interested. If we had known there was no restaurant or bar we would not have booked. Please avoid booking this hotel as you will be extremely disappointed.

Booked last minute as I ended up stuck in Rome. The front desk were exceptionally helpful and kind. However, the property was extremely dated, with stains on the carpets throughout, cracks in walls, cracks in floor tiling, damage to the bath, stains on the ceiling, etc. The air conditioning worked well and the room was generally clean, and the bed comfortable. There was a lot of dust behind the bedside cabinets and under the bed, so whilst the room was mostly clean, the details were missed. No amenities to speak of in the room. I would stay here again if I absolutely had to, but I’d try and avoid it.

It is a nice hotel, but we had problems with WiFi connection, it was on and off all the time, I had to go to the front desk area to use the internet , also I found the shower/tub access very complicated, it has a glass panel that opens to the inside of the tub, and it is hard to get out, and dangerous, (the soap dispenser is attached to the wall of the tub). so slippery. I had to put a towel, I hope they can change it, overall it is a nice hotel in a nice area, with good customer service

Clean room. Great location. The breakfast is good, especially the fresh home made cakes. 24x7 concierge.

I am highly upset with this booking — both with this hotel and with Expedia for the false advertising. This property is nowhere near a 4‑star standard. The building is extremely old, and the layout is inconvenient, with floors separated by stairs that force you to drag your luggage up and down. The interior is just as disappointing: ugly grey carpet, small claustrophobic elevators, and lobby couches that are outdated, worn, and dirty. What made the stay truly unbearable is that the hotel does not turn on the AC until mid‑June. We spent several sleepless nights in a hot, uncomfortable room. Opening the balcony door didn’t help — it only added noise from outside and constant door banging from the wind draft, making the nights even worse. To make matters worse, the location is far from everything. It’s at least a 40–60 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and other major sights. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. I strongly recommend staying away from this hotel.

Great location, stayed in a smaller room with twin bed, quite happy with everything

Great location to Termini train station. Restaurants within walking distance. A bodega steps away. Handicap accessible. 7- 10 am Breakfast for $15 euros is plentiful. A good selection of foods. You can’t find a breakfast buffet under $15 euros anywhere else. Coffee choices and eggs to order. Front desk very helpful and will call taxi’s for you.

Staff was friendly, room and hotel well kept

This was my second time staying there. Room was clean and the staff was courteous. Flushing the toilet was a issue as well as the shower curtain should be replace with a different kind to help keep water in the tub while you shower. Looks like water has been pooling on the floor and damaged the bottom of the door frame, the door and has seeped into the hallway and the floor as started to bubble up. I would stay here again due to it's convenience to the places while I'm in Rome. Easy walk to Roma Termini.
