Great 4.0
Convenient transportation: It's a one-minute walk across the street from the train station, and there's easy access to trains/Venice's main island, which is very convenient. Tip: You can store your luggage at the hotel, so you don't have to carry it up countless stairs on Venice's main island.

Fantastic 5.0
Easy to use, app is simple and provides good info on train routes etc. A bit pricey at first, but you if you don’t have definite plans and prebooked train tickets months before, will recommend getting this to avoid variable prices.

driver arrived on time at the designated meeting place. it was a shared ride but with only one other stop and we made it to the airport in a timely manner. would definitely recommend using this service when flying in or out of Venice.

Fantastic 5.0
Using a rail pass is convenient for travelers who haven't done their research, but most Eurail passes in Italy require mandatory reservation fees, starting from 13 euros per segment. Over the course of a day, the reservation fees alone can add up significantly, making it quite expensive overall.

Fantastic 5.0
Upon leaving Venice Airport, you'll see self-service ticket machines for ACTV and Alilaguna at the exit. However, in my experience, if you purchase through Klook, you'll receive a voucher. I recommend going directly to the Alilaguna service counter, where staff can immediately exchange it for a physical boat ticket. It's great that Klook offers this service.

Fantastic 5.0
Probably one of the best tours I had in Europe, if not the best. The bus ride was comfortable, the tour guide was well knowledged. She gave us ample time on each stop; not too short, not too long, just the right amount of time to explore and appreciate Italy’s hidden gem. This is highly recommended. 1000000/10

Piazza San Marco (Saint Mark’s Square)

Known as Venice’s living room, St. Mark's Square is filled with history, music, and stunning architecture. Visit in the early morning or evening to enjoy it with fewer crowds. You can also visit Mark's campanile to admire Venice from above!

Ponte di Rialto (Rialto Bridge)

The Rialto Bridge is one of Venice’s most iconic bridges. It’s a great spot for photos, souvenir shopping, and watching gondolas glide beneath. Visit at sunset for the best light over the Venetian Lagoon.

San Giorgio Maggiore

Across from St. Mark’s Square, this peaceful island is home to a church designed by Andrea Palladio. Climb its bell tower for a quiet view of the Venetian Lagoon and the red rooftops of the city.

Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo

Famous for its spiral staircase, this small palace offers one of the best rooftop terraces in Venice. The climb is short, and the view over the canals and San Marco district is worth it.

Tips before visiting Venice

1. Visit early or late to avoid crowds

Venice can get crowded, especially around San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Plan to visit main attractions early in the morning or later in the evening. You’ll enjoy a more peaceful experience and better photos.

2. Bring comfortable shoes

You’ll walk a lot in Venice since there are no cars. Wear comfortable shoes for walking tours along narrow streets and bridges. Water-resistant footwear is handy, especially if visiting during high tide.

3. Use public transport wisely

Water buses (vaporetti) are the easiest way to explore the Venetian Lagoon and reach Murano or Burano. You can also use Google Maps to check routes and schedules.

To make your trip even smoother, book your Venice Pass through Klook for easier access to public transport and top attractions around the city!
