Stayed with partner

Staff at reception were friendly and accommodating. Jason at the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Sta. Maria Maggiore was a five minute walk away while the Trevi Fountain was about 15 minutes on foot. Hotel was also near Via Nazionale train and bus station so it was easy to get around.

Comfortable room with plenty of good restaurants nearby. Walking distance to many sights. Short walk from the main train station. Only one small issue was we could hear talking from the room next door. It didn't effect our stay though. Breakfast was good and staff friendly.

Not really 4* standard. Dated rooms. Bathroom had an unpleasant stench. Breakfast was pretty much the same daily, nothing special and no halal or vegetarian options. Decent location

Although the hotel is close to Termini station, the room we stayed at had a faulty toilet, the water in the bathtub where you shower was not draining and the bathtub is slanted, has no non-slip mat so you have to be very careful or you'll fall like I did. The shower head was lose and would not stay upright. The upholstery in the room is dirty. The staff was very helpful but the maintenance workers claimed that the situation in the bathroom was fixed yet the problem kept reoccurring.

Decent sized room with clean modern bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and even had a massage setting. Location was good near the train station and an easy walk to sites. A sister hotel offered a two hour spa for 30 euros which was amazing after the heat.

Stayed with family

This was my second time and third time staying at Augusta Lucilla Palace. I stayed here back in March 2024, and I decided to book here again this time. I was travelling with my mom for a Mediterranean Cruise. We stayed here a couple days prior to the cruise, and a day after our cruise. Both my mom and I were very impressed with the cleanliness and spacious of the room. The room was set up for two twin beds which was exactly what we wanted. We also enjoyed its close proximity to Roma Termini, and its variety of breakfast selections. I would definitely stay here in the future if I come visit Rome again!
