Things to do in Tsurugaoka Hachimangu

A great trip to explore Enoshima, Kamakurakoko (Slam Dunk), ride a train to Kamakurakoko, the big Buddha statue in Kotaku-in and Tsurugaoka Hachiman-Gu. Our guide, 李韩山, is also very good in recommending good food in the vicinity of these places of interest.

Very beautiful selection of yukatas and kimonos. The staff was very friendly and polite and was very professional in dressing me and doing my hair. The best part is everything is already included in the price (hairdo, hair accessories, bag and shoes). Will definitely be back again when I visit Kamakura again! ❤️

Great day tour experience to Kamakura. The day tour was by Gogoday Travel, quite a big tour company with many groups gathering at the same time so watch out for the flag number and check in with the guide holding the flag. they will email you the day before to provide the meeting details and contacts like WhatsApp, Line. The bus was big and seats were comfortable. Our guide Alex was excellent, he is fluent in both English and Mandarin and always provide the information in both languages. He was reassuring and generous in his assistance throughout the trip. The weather was good although it was a little hot from the walking and we couldn't see Mt Fuji from Enoshima island. the duration was good so that we were back in Shinjuku by 5.30pm. For those who prefer front seats in bus, select priority seats with a bit more fees.

I highly recommend the Enoshima course in Kamakura, a place recently rumored to have beautiful scenery on social media. Although it was a day of heavy rain, June Park kindly led us precisely on time, ensuring we weren't inconvenienced by the weather, making our day incredibly fulfilling. I'd love to visit again on a day with good weather. If you want to create wonderful memories in Japan, a visit to Kamakura will surely fill your trip with charming experiences. Kento was a funny and great guide to have for our day trip to Kakamura + Enoshima Island. It was wonderful to be able to wear a kimono and have my hair styled. It was a little disappointing that there weren't many types and patterns of kimonos available. However, the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, so I would love to use this service again if I have the chance. Thank you for the great memories.

We booked direct pickup and drop-off at our accommodation. Our tour guide was very kind and told us many stories about the attractions along the way. We took the Enoden train from Enoshima to Kamakura Koko-mae Station, which is a scene from the Slam Dunk anime and attracts many people for photos. Enoshima's streets have many unique shops, and Tamaya Yokan Station even sells Japanese shaved ice, which is very refreshing in the summer. The super eye-catching giant squid crackers were crispy and delicious. We also tried pudding, grilled seafood, and more. We also visited the Great Buddha of Kamakura and finally Hachimangu Shrine. On the way back, because there were many of us, our tour guide even helped us call to reserve a restaurant and communicate with them. It was truly a wonderful day.

I was rebooked with the Kamakura day tour without Yokohama night view due to availability. so this review is for our tour guide Allen with gogoday which is the provider’s name. Allen is attentive and explains the interinery well. He is funny at times and tries to make us relax. he provides recommendations for food and places of interests, and shared his own experiences. our bus driver is professional. overall I had f good time and will recommend.
