Highly recommend this hotel. Very spacious and lovely rooms. Small boutique hotel with no noise. Very central.

Hotel Location: Very close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, only a 10-minute walk. There's a supermarket nearby, which is great for shopping. Convenience of Transportation: A bit far from the station, but convenient to take the bus. Cleanliness: Has utensils for cooking! The hotel is very clean. Service: Can help call a taxi, and the staff are very friendly 👍

The facility is beautiful but what really made the experience that much better was how helpful and kind the staff was. Rooms were clean and looked very nice. Location wise this is such a great spot to be for doing things in Kyoto I’d definitely come back again.

The inn is just a short walk from Gion‑Shijo Station, putting you steps away from traditional streets, cafes, and eateries, and within easy reach of iconic spots like Yasaka Shrine and the historic Higashiyama area.� LIVE JAPAN The room was simple, clean, and comfortable with all the essentials for a pleasant stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated being able to explore so much on foot — from atmospheric alleyways to the stunning temples and shops nearby — making every evening stroll feel like part of the adventure. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kyoto who wants a great base for sightseeing and experiencing the timeless beauty of Gion!

We arrived later than we expected that kaiseki dinner reservation already closed, too bad. Breakfast was customize to our allergen and preferences, thank you. Room was big and warm amids heavy snow storm and sleet outside. Pagoda was seen from our room. Staff was helpful, considerate, and understanding.

Located in a quiet, local neighborhood, it's very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are also very large and comfortable. I will definitely book this place again next time!!
