great trip with Ko our tour guide. he was great with explaining all the hx of the shrine on our way there, knowledgeable and helpful throughout. the shrine was phenominal, the landscaping throughout the Niko area was so beautiful, we got so many pictures. lots of stairs and walking so be prepared and fit! overall we really enjoyed the trip, highly recommended!

We had a very enjoyable excursion to Nikko from Tokyo with Ko and Chen. Chen was a safe, conscientious driver on the curvy mountain roads which I appreciated as a passenger. Ko was both efficient and accommodating while being an informative guide. We would recommend this outing highly as it is a great day trip from Tokyo to see some of the most beautiful landscapes and landmark architecture.

It was one of the best tours I made in Japan! And not only because of the turistic places but specially because of the way Fujihira drived and Zarachy guided. They were kind and make the tour very special. Zarachy help me with my internet problem and Fujihira let everybody happy with his words.

Prior to the trip, our tour leader, Mizki (Xiao Bo), confirmed the itinerary details via messaging apps and email. On the day of the trip, due to heavy rain, we couldn't ride the cable car, so we made a last-minute change to the Kegon Falls elevator to make up for this minor disappointment. Along the way, Mizki provided detailed explanations of the historical background and features of the attractions in both Chinese and English. Since the tour didn't include meals, she also recommended good local snacks to the group, making sure everyone had something to eat and drink to avoid getting hungry during the long drive. Our driver, Mr. Wang, was very kind and courteous, and his driving skills were excellent. As someone who has only traveled independently for over twenty years, this was my first time participating in a group day tour. Overall, it was a great travel experience, and I would consider this type of tour again in the future.

Had a great time with the tour! Itinerary was well chosen and clear. Guide was informative and there was more down time to do exploring on your own. Toshogu and Kegon Falls were great, just not much to see at the lake though. Overall great tour! We definitely enjoyed the more relaxed pace ☺️

It was a good trip. Lunch bento was very delicious and full of varieties. It is free, meaning all included inside the ticket you purchased here. They give out lunch bentos on the bus and you can have it anytime u want on the bus. There is also a packet drink. Pls follow the instructions of the picture provided for the pick up point strictly. Don’t search by google map for the address of pick up location, you’ll end up in a very different place and panic.

A great experience and a lovely day out. For tourists looking for some nature outside of Tokyo, this was brilliant. the host was fun and warm, easy to meet location (remember to add additional time for finding the station exit!). the temple is stunning and sat beautifully in nature, the lake is tranquil and the waterfall is a sight to see.
