Our tour guide, Xiao Chen, was very friendly and explained everything clearly. During the journey, he taught us a lot about the ecosystem of the Kawa mangroves and also helped us take many photos. He thoughtfully prepared raincoats and binoculars for us, in case we got wet and to help us see the gibbons/kingfishers more clearly. He even treated us to coconut pudding, which was very hospitable. It was truly a great experience.

We had a wonderful experience with our driver during our half day kk city tour trip. Driver Mr Mok was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire journey. He put a lot of effort into recommending suitable attractions and made sure we could enjoy the trip without feeling rushed. Fantastic Kota Kinabalu City Tour! The tour company contacted us clearly via WhatsApp in advance, so everything was easy and stress-free. Our guide, Ms. Yee, was incredibly friendly and cheerful! Although our English is not perfect, she used a translation app, gestures, and lots of smiles to communicate with us. My wife and I had such a fun time thanks to her! Our driver, Mr. Max, was also very professional, with safe and smooth driving throughout the tour. The tour is short but covers the major landmarks of Kota Kinabalu efficiently. The half-day itinerary was packed, and our guide, Daniel, was absolutely fantastic! He spoke Malay, English, and Chinese... I bet he could handle Cantonese and Hokkien too! He was incredibly patient and meticulous with his explanations and arrangements throughout the trip. Even the two little ones in our group loved chatting with him. We found the proboscis monkeys, saw the sunset, but the grand finale was truly the highlight: a sky full of stars and trees full of fireflies. One star twinkled in the sky, and a firefly rested in my hand – it was the most beautiful and serene experience imaginable (the camera couldn't capture even a fraction of it). Manukan Island wasn't bad, but I highly recommend Mamutik Island. I took two tours and visited Gaya, Sapi, Mamutik, and Manukan Islands, and Mamutik Island was the best of the four. It wasn't just because the weather was great that day; the coral reefs on that island were so well-formed that I saw more fish there than on all three other islands combined. I wish the water had been a bit clearer on the day I went, but it was still truly beautiful and wonderful. The guide was also very kind and excellent. I highly recommend it!
