Things to do in Napoli Sotterranea (Naples Underground)

I did this tour on the day I leave Naples in the afternoon. I was deciding whether I’d squeeze it in before I leave and so glad I did. Great way to spend some time learning about Naples’s underground history. Definitely worth visiting.

The Pompeii Archaeological Museum is definitely worth a visit! It displays many artifacts unearthed from the ancient city, showing what life was like for the residents of Pompeii before the volcanic eruption. The only thing to note is that most areas inside the museum do not have air conditioning. On a 37-degree Celsius day, walking through it really tests your endurance and stamina; it felt like being in a sauna. Although the experience was a bit challenging, seeing so many historical treasures still made it feel worthwhile. I highly recommend bringing a fan and staying well-hydrated!

In Naples, a bus tour seems essential! While I don't see much reason to take one in Florence or Milan, the Naples B-line bus offers beautiful coastal scenery, and the A-line was very satisfying because it allowed me to hop on and off at places I wanted to visit while saving on transportation costs.

We really enjoyed it. The booking went smoothly, and everyone loved it. It's a decent leisure activity for Naples.

It's a shame that photos aren't allowed inside, but the guide's explanation was very detailed. However, it's important to note that this was an Italian tour; there was no English tour at all, even though it said English when I signed up.
