The fare is cheaper than taking the JR round trip, and it is point-to-point, very efficient, and very worthwhile. The flower fields at the end of June are not in full bloom, some places are bare, and some places can still see beautiful flower fields.

Shout-out to our amazing tour guide Eric! We had an unforgettable day thanks to Eric, who brought so much knowledge, energy, and heart to our tour. Not only is he incredibly well-versed in the local culture and history, but he also managed the itinerary seamlessly—everything was perfectly timed and thoughtfully structured. We truly enjoyed every single moment! What made the experience extra special was Eric’s warm personality. He gave us plenty of laughs and created such a positive, fun atmosphere throughout the day. He also made sure to check in with everyone, and we’re especially grateful for the kindness and care he showed my mom, who has minor leg issues—his thoughtfulness didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for turning a great tour into a beautiful memory, Eric. You’re the best! 🙌

This time with my family and a group of 4 people to visit Furano, the itinerary is well arranged, each attraction although the time is not long (each attraction about an hour stay), but enough time, tour bus comfortable. Special thanks to the tour guide Andy's friendly service, he always smile, clear explanation (Chinese and English bilingual), attentive to the group members, service is warm and quality, proactive to help afraid of photography.

Tips Before You Go to Furano Ski Resort

1. Check the Snow Season Dates

The best time to visit Furano Ski Resort is from late November to early May, with the heaviest snowfall in January and February. Checking the snow forecast before your trip helps you plan for the best conditions. You'll want to time your visit for peak powder days if you're chasing that perfect run!

2. Book Your Accommodation Early

Hotels near Furano Ski Resort fill up fast, especially during the winter holidays and ski festivals. It's best to book a few months in advance so you can get a spot close to the slopes or near the ski lifts.

3. Dress for the Cold

Winters at Furano Ski Resort can get really chilly, so dressing in warm, waterproof layers is key. Bring thermal clothing, gloves, and snow boots to stay comfortable all day on the mountain. The temperatures can drop quickly, especially in the mornings and evenings.

4. Rent Your Gear in Advance

If you don't have your own equipment, Furano Ski Resort has lots of rental options, but they can get busy during peak season. Reserving your skis, snowboards, or clothing in advance saves time and guarantees you'll get the right fit. Most rental shops also offer lessons for beginners or kids.

5. Explore Beyond the Slopes

There's more to Furano Ski Resort than just skiing! Take time to visit nearby attractions like hot springs, ice villages, and local restaurants serving Hokkaido's famous cheese and ramen. You can also go snowshoeing or take a snowmobile tour for a different kind of adventure.
