The food variety is limited, but the location is very strategic, and it's very lively at night with many street food vendors around. There are also many malls nearby.

We had a comfortable two-night stay at deSatu Hotel in downtown Medan. The location was excellent, right next to Centre Point Mall and less than a two-minute walk away, with plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean, cosy, and just the right size for two, with a comfortable queen-size bed. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and welcoming. Our only minor issue was some noise in the hallway in the morning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
