Sensoji Temple

Located in Asakusa district, Tokyo, Sensoji Temple, also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple, is Tokyo's oldest temple and a sacred spot across Japan, drawing more than 30 million visitors each year. No matter how many times they returned the statue to the water, it kept coming back to them. That's why Sensoji Temple was built nearby in 645, making it the oldest temple in Tokyo and a Shinto shrine dedicated to Kannon. Throughout the year, the temple grounds host exciting events like the Sanja Matsuri festival in May, the Asakusa Samba Carnival in August, and the traditional Hagoita Market, where decorative paddles are sold for a fun game called hanetsuki. This Mt. Fuji day tour was a fantastic experience, covering many iconic and photogenic spots in one well-planned itinerary. Each location offered stunning views of Mt. Fuji and unique cultural charm. Our guide, Kate, was professional and engaging. She provided informative explanations about each attraction in both Chinese and English, which made the history and background of the sites much more meaningful. She also shared important reminders and timing details in the group chat, helping the day run smoothly. In addition, Kate recommended various local specialties for us to try, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to the trip. Overall, it was a well-organized and memorable tour that I would highly recommend.

An amazing experience in Kamakura! It’s a worthwhile day trip from Tokyo, with beautiful seascapes—especially around Enoshima Island. Our guide, Jeffrey, was very organized, which was especially helpful as we navigated the trains as a large group. Highly recommended!

My friend and I really enjoyed the experience. The guy was really cute and nice (can’t remember his name but he has long hair). His car was clean and nice, the drive was fast and smooth. He gave us enough time to take pictures and also helped us to take pictures together. My phone run out of battery and he suggested to charge it in the car.

He went out of his way to help us take beautiful photos with Fuji-san and made sure we had the best spots for pictures. the whole trip was better than I expected!! it’s my second time visiting mt fuji and it was as fun as the first. though she was shy and hardly visible in Hakone, lake aishi, we saw her everywhere else (lake yamanaka, oshino hakkai, otw to and fro tokyo) the visibility luck has mostly been with us during the trip. our tour guide, Andrew, was very engaging and clearly enjoys the tour as well. his instructions were simple and easy to follow. didn’t felt rushed and yet completed everything on time. also, he translated everything in french (for some of our french companies) and I feel like I learnt a few words too. highly recommend him and this tour. very worth the price and time
