Things to do in Penghu

Someone on our boat caught two small fish. We thought we wouldn't catch anything, but now we can even add them to our meal! Their sashimi from the small fish is incredibly delicious and sweet, and the rice noodles are also tasty; the captain cooked them perfectly. Plus, there's brown sugar cake for us to enjoy two pieces of when we leave. Watching the fireworks on the boat was beautiful, but it was a bit too quiet. It really needed some music.

The meeting time was 20 minutes before departure, scheduled for 7:40 AM, but we actually departed at 8:00 AM because we were waiting for a group of tourists. There was a guide on the boat who stayed with us, for example, we'd agree on a time to follow her for a tour, and the service was pretty good. However, on the return trip, there was no commentary about the islands we cruised past! We had 1.5 hours at Dongji Island and 3 hours at Qimei (including self-arranged lunch), which was plenty of time! It was great—the whole island-hopping day trip wasn't expensive, highly recommended! 👍

The guided tour helped us learn more about the lighthouse's history, making it a worthwhile visit. **Water Activities Were Super Fun** Snorkeling, SUP, banana boat, and other activities were all included. The instructors were professional and humorous, and safety measures were well in place. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many tropical fish; the underwater scenery was truly stunning! We had an absolute blast with the water activities and it was completely worth the trip. **High Degree of Freedom on the Island** After renting a scooter, we could leisurely explore Qibei Island, enjoying the white sand beaches, fishing village charm, and seafood snacks at our own pace. The feeling of not being rushed was fantastic. Riding the scooter on the beach at sunset with the breeze was incredibly romantic! Overall, this itinerary offers excellent value for money, including ferry tickets, scooter rental, water activities, and the lighthouse tour. It covers all the main highlights in one go, so you don't have to run around organizing things yourself. Experience: The sunrise is incredibly moving, watching the sun emerge from the horizon. Because sunrise tours require an early start, there are usually fewer people, and the instructors often take the opportunity to capture many beautiful photos. Safety: The waters around Suogang are actually quite safe. Under the guidance of an instructor and with the protection of a life vest, it's quite easy to get back on the board if you accidentally fall into the water (the instructor will also help you get back on).

Penghu Aquarium is definitely worth a visit; I highly recommend the diver feeding show, it's spectacular. It's perfect for families to take photos and see marine life. As an indoor attraction with air conditioning, you don't have to worry about sun exposure, making it a nice and comfortable outing. The kids loved it and had a great time. It was really cool to even see giant groupers.

We were delighted to join the Deyu Yacht "Penghu Island Hopping Day Tour." Our Group B tour guide provided detailed introductions to Penghu's local customs and history, and proactively helped our group take photos. On the return trip, the terns, who seemed to be eagerly awaiting our arrival, offered a lively and interesting experience as we fed them small fish for an afternoon snack. We give a five-star recommendation to Deyu Yacht! The cabin and restrooms were clean and tidy, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The itinerary was well-planned and the timing was perfectly managed.

The scooter is an electric scooter, very small and cramped. You can ride it for about two loops, and there's still enough charge for one more loop. You don't need to stay too long; you can catch the return ferry around 1:00 PM. There are fewer attractions compared to Qimei.

This was such a unique experience! Loved it! I would highly recommend this as an activity to do one evening!
