Jiufen at Night, Shifen (Sky Lanterns), and Shifen Waterfall Tour

It was a wonderful experience. This tour covered Jiufen and Shifen, and we were able to visit all the key spots within the allotted time. It was also very insightful to chat during the tour and learn about Taiwan. If you're considering it, I highly recommend joining. Our guide (Mr. Chu Chun-chieh) was very intelligent, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his work. Most importantly, his voice was easy to understand, making him an excellent guide. I would love to use his services again.

This was a very flexible and enjoyable tour. Although it was free time, our guide gave us excellent recommendations on what to see and accommodated our preferences for time allocation. The location for releasing lanterns in Shifen was perfect, and they all floated beautifully into the sky. We had plenty of time for meals and snacks, so there was no need to rush, which might have been due to the small group size. Our guide was very thoughtful and wonderful. The driving was smooth and made us feel safe during our travels. Their Japanese was also excellent. I would definitely love to use their services again! 💓

This tour is not only a very efficient way to see Jiufen and Shifen, but the time allocation is also carefully planned so you can fully enjoy each attraction. The inclusion of Shifen Waterfall means you can enjoy nature as well as exploring the towns, which made me very satisfied. The guide was truly excellent, flexibly arranging the route to suit the day's conditions, allowing us to enjoy the sights in a better way. Furthermore, they took photos for us at various spots, and their composition and technique were very skillful, allowing us to create wonderful memories. In addition, they gave us various suggestions for dining in Taipei, and even recommended places to visit outside of Taipei, which strengthened my desire to "go to Taiwan again!" I highly recommend this tour, which is efficient but allows you to enjoy everything thoroughly!

Our guide, Mr. Ding, was fluent in Japanese and incredibly kind. He was also an excellent driver, avoiding congested roads and choosing less crowded routes to get us to our destination. He waited for us in a convenient and easy-to-find parking spot nearby. He provided clear and concise information about the tourist attractions. His hospitality was so exceptional that I can't even write it all down, and we had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much! 😊

Our tour guide was Mr. Hayashi Shigeyasu. He spoke Japanese and taught us various things at each location. It wasn't just about going around the tourist spots, but by teaching us various things, we were able to gain a deeper understanding and it was very fulfilling. I was worried about the event being held due to the typhoon, but we were able to go without any problems. Mr. Chen, the tour manager, explained everything clearly and was very knowledgeable about what to do, so we had a great experience even in the rain. I'm really glad I chose this tour, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to choose a tour in the future.

Our guide, Shun, was incredibly thorough and informative, which made the tour run very smoothly. He gave us great tips, like suggesting we didn't need to climb all the way to the upper observation deck at Shifen Waterfall since there are so many stairs in Jiufen, and even though it was raining a bit during the Shifen lantern release, we were able to write our wishes indoors at the shop. The staff member who took our photos and videos was also very cheerful, and we got some fantastic shots! In Jiufen, Shun took photos and videos for us, pointed out the best photo spots, and recommended truly delicious places to eat, making it a thoroughly satisfying tour. Since it was a relaxed pace tour, it was a bit pricier, but it was worth it to explore at our leisure without worrying about train or bus schedules. We spent time at Haiyue Teahouse in Jiufen, where we learned how to brew tea, waited for the blue hour (twilight) and darkness to photograph A-Mei Teahouse across the way, and strolled through Jishan Street with its lit lanterns. On the way back, he dropped us off at Shilin Night Market. We were extremely satisfied! Thank you, Shun!
