Day 1: Nagoya to Gujo Hachiman Old Town to Shirakawa-go to Hida Takayama
07:50 Assembly: MiniStop (Meieki Tsubaki-cho store) in front of the door 08:00 Departure 09:30 Gujo Hachiman Old Town (approx. 1.5H stay) Traditional buildings from the Edo period are well preserved, with clear streams flowing through the streets, known as the “Water Town.” You can enjoy food model making, cherry blossoms in spring, “Gujo Odori” night festival in summer (if it coincides with a festival), and autumn leaves in autumn. 11:00 Depart for Shirakawa-go Gassho Village 12:30 Shirakawa-go Gassho Village (approx. 2H stay) Snow scenery in winter is like a fairy tale, lush green in summer, beautiful in all seasons. Climb to the observation deck to overlook the panoramic view of the entire village, a must-see cluster of Gassho-zukuri houses. 14:30 Depart for Hida Takayama Old Street 15:30 Hida Takayama Old Street (approx. 2H stay) Edo-style streets, lined with wooden shops, sake breweries, miso shops, and souvenir shops. Recommended experiences: Miyagawa Morning Market (can revisit if you wake up early the next day) Takayama Jinya (Edo government office ruins) Eat Hida beef skewers at Ajikura Tengoku, Hida beef skewers, miso dango, popular snacks on the old street. 17:30 Check into hotel: Hida Plaza Hotel (including breakfast)
Day 2: Takayama to Kamikochi to Nagoya | Light Hike × Mountain Secret Realm
07:30-08:30 Breakfast (ingredients subject to hotel provision) 08:50 Assembly 09:00 Depart for Kamikochi 11:00 Kamikochi (approx. 4.5H stay) The azure Azusa River, the iconic Kappa Bridge, the tranquil Myojin Pond, and the 3000-meter-high Hotaka mountain range – every part of Kamikochi showcases magnificent scenery. It is especially beautiful in spring (May) when new greenery sprouts and the Alps are still covered with snow; it is equally stunning during the peak autumn foliage season (October). The classic route that best represents Kamikochi is the round trip from Kappa Bridge to Taisho Pond. Along the way, you can enjoy many classic natural landscapes, such as the smoking Mt. Yake and the Hotaka mountain range reflected in the mirror-like water. On the return trip, you can also pass by the scenic Tashiro Pond wetland. The entire journey is about 3.8 to 4 kilometers, and the walking time is about 2.5 hours. The terrain is flat and not difficult to walk, and the scenery is rich and varied. You can also stop along the way for lunch and slowly enjoy the beauty of nature. 15:30 Assemble for return trip | approx. 3.5H Around 19:00 Arrive at Nagoya Station, ending the trip.









Reviews
The itinerary stated a stay at the 4-star Hida Takayama Green Hotel, but we actually stayed at the 3-star Route Inn Grantia. This is a huge discrepancy! There's a difference in room rates.

- [Ordering Instructions] For 2-4 people per room, please order according to the number of people and note the desired room type, for example: 2 people in one room, 3 people in one room, 4 people in one room. Our company does not arrange for unfamiliar group members to share a room.
- [Group Formation Notification] 14 days before the departure date, we will contact you to confirm whether the group has formed. Please note your preferred communication method (e.g., WhatsApp/Wechat/Line) on the order page. If not provided, we will notify you whether the group has formed via your reserved email address. Please check your inbox.
- [Accommodation Hotel] The accommodation hotel will be primarily as described in the itinerary. If fully booked, a hotel of the same standard will be provided. Accommodation details will be provided 3 days before departure. Room types are subject to availability and cannot be specified. For multiple person orders, please note the desired room type, and we will try our best to accommodate. We appreciate your understanding if we cannot meet your request. Our company will not arrange for odd-numbered guests to share a room with other group members.
- [Children Free Policy] Infants and children will be counted as passengers. Children aged 0-2 who do not occupy a separate seat or bed can participate for free. Children over 2 years old are priced the same as adults. One adult can bring one free infant. If there are children aged 0-2 (participating for free) traveling with you, please note this when placing your order. If not notified in advance and there is insufficient space, the driver has the right to refuse carriage, and any resulting losses must be borne by you. We appreciate your understanding.
- [Vehicle & Tour Leader Arrangement] We will arrange appropriate vehicle types (e.g., commercial vehicles, minibuses, coaches) based on the actual number of travelers. We cannot accept specific vehicle requests. We appreciate your understanding. For groups of less than 16 people, only the driver will also serve as the tour leader. The driver/tour leader is only responsible for the itinerary and time management. After arriving at the attractions, please explore freely. For groups of 16 or more, a separate tour leader will be arranged.
- [Pre-trip Notification Email Reminder] The evening before departure, from 19:00-22:00 (Japan time), we will send a pre-trip notification email containing the driver/tour leader's contact information, a map of the meeting point, and relevant注意事项. Please be sure to check it promptly and also check your spam folder. During peak travel seasons, email delivery may be slightly delayed. We appreciate your understanding. If you receive multiple emails, the latest one sent will prevail.
- [Meeting Time Requirements] Please be sure to arrive at the designated meeting point by 8:00 AM. As the itinerary is a group tour, late arrivals cannot be waited for, and no refunds will be given. All expenses and responsibilities incurred due to lateness will be borne by you. Thank you for your understanding.
- [Luggage Policy] Each traveler can carry 1 piece of standard-sized luggage for free. Please note this in the remarks section when placing your order. If luggage is brought without prior notification, it may lead to insufficient space in the vehicle, affecting the safety and comfort of other passengers. The guide has the right to refuse your boarding, and relevant fees will not be refunded. We appreciate your understanding.
- [Cancellation Policy]: Cancellations made more than 15 days before the selected date will receive a full refund (0% handling fee); cancellations made 10-14 days before the selected date will incur a 10% handling fee; cancellations made 4-9 days before the selected date will incur a 20% handling fee; cancellations made 1-3 days before the selected date will incur a 40% handling fee; cancellations made on the selected date will not be refunded (100% handling fee).
- [Force Majeure Response] In case of itinerary delays due to force majeure factors such as weather or traffic, the tour leader will flexibly adjust the itinerary sequence on-site, or shorten/cancel the stay at some attractions based on actual circumstances to ensure the safe and orderly progress of the itinerary.
