Our guide Cristina was so lovely, caring and passionate about her job! Very knowledgeable, we saw things and learnt about things we had not expected. My Mum is a well into her 70’s and Cristina was always looking out for her. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The trip was good and whatever said was in a provided. But this 4 star is because my overall experience wasn't that great based on the actual arrangements made. I had expected to finish the Catacombs and the Crypt museum tour together within a single journey. Whereas the Crypt tour was to be done later whenever and the mode to reach there was the hop on hop off bus, which was trouble some, as the source and destination points had to be located and walked a lot which meant the trip couldn't complete in given time.

Eddy is the most amazing guide! He is equal parts of knowledgeable and humourous. His detailed explanations helped us to appreciate the centuries of history, culture and art that is preserved in the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. I would definitely recommend paying more to get a guided experience! It's well worth it!

Absolutely amazing, recommended to book early morning to have enough time to explore everything and it’s not too hot. We can come in 15 minutes earlier than the time on the ticket, very easy entry, just scan the barcode. They did not check the passport at all probably it was super busy when we visited. It said 75 minutes but we could stay as long as wished. Highly recommended!!!

my walking tour of the Pantheon was amazing and Giorgio our guide was very friendly and gave us lots of information about the history of the sites that we visited. As it was summer he also tried to walk through the shaded areas as much as possible. We also went to the Piazza by St Agnes Church and you can see the groves from the chariots still. Highly recommend and found the meeting spot easy to find. Thank you so much

I booked a different tour of the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel for the morning, but my son really wanted to go up to the dome. I was unsure if adding this was going to be too much walking for me and my son after the morning tour. I am happy to say I am so glad I added this to our itinerary because it made us feel like our trip to the Vatican was now complete. What a special and unique way of looking down into the nave of the basilica, and a wonderful view of the city from above. My son said it was one of the best things we did on the whole trip! We met the guides outside the designated café, and they helped us with walking us to the start of the line. We only waited 5 minutes to get through security, and then we were free to roam around the inside of the basilica and up to the dome at our designated time slot.

We started using the Big Bus on our first day in Rome, which helped us avoid crowded areas and an unfamiliar subway system. This allowed us to get to know the city and visit various attractions in a more comfortable and relaxed way. After showing your e-ticket directly to the ticket agent near the bus stop or to the staff on the bus, they will help you print out the tickets you can use later. Once you have your ticket, you can ride unlimited times. You can also download the designated app to follow guided tours and complete four city walk routes on your own during your trip, which is truly very practical.

What to know about Catacombe di San Callisto
The Catacombe di San Callisto, also known as the Catacombs of St. Callixtus in Rome, is the ancient underground cemetery that was the official burial place for the early Christian community in the third century. Around half a million Christians, including martyrs and 16 popes like Pope Damasus, found their final resting place here.
The catacombs are named after Deacon St. Callixtus, whom Pope Zephyrinus put in charge of managing the cemetery in the early third century. Extending nearly 20 kilometers long and 20 meters deep with four levels, covering about 37 hectares, these Roman catacombs are a significant part of Rome's early Christian history.
Back then, Christians in Rome struggled to find proper burial grounds. They either had to bury their loved ones in Pagan cemeteries or on private land. To solve this, with the help of volunteers and donations, they started building the Catacombs of St. Callixtus, gradually expanding the official cemetery over time.
