Leaning Tower of Pisa

Pisa Cathedral

Culture and History

Modern-Day Preservation & Restoration

To prevent collapse, engineers conducted extensive remedial work between 1993 and 2001, reducing the tilt of the Leaning Tower of Pisa by 45 cm. Today, the monument is stable, allowing tourists to safely experience this real wonder of engineering.
