Things to do in Akaroa

Drove there myself. It was a very fun trip. The alpacas were super cute, and the scenery along the way and in the pasture was beautiful. It's just a shame it was too short.

The scenery there is very beautiful, with many adorable alpacas. Chinese and English-speaking guides are available, and they provide detailed explanations of the alpacas' habits. They also tell us which alpacas we can hold and take pictures with. Food is provided so we can feed the alpacas, but the entire experience is a bit short, only about an hour and a half. Alpaca wool products such as beanies, sweaters, and scarves are available for purchase there. The location is remote, up in the mountains. I drove there myself using Google Maps.

Staff was friendly, alpacas were adorable and seemed like they were well taken. are of. Had a nice conversation with the owner as well. A little far away from the city but with the drive.

The alpacas are very friendly and not shy at all! The staff working that day were all Taiwanese, so there were no communication issues 👍 and they were very kind 😄

very wonderful experience to be able to pet the alpacas, all the alpacas are well taken care and very healthy. we have plenty of time to take picture and feed them.

Best cruise in New Zealand! Saw lots of dolphins and seals. We were taken close to a cave and served drinks + chocolate chip cookies.
