Nikko pass is nice if you plan on visiting a lot of different sites and use the bus system. I didn't get much use from it, but still a great way to visit a lot of sites. Some attractions were closed since its the winter season.

You can use it to take a bus to travel around Nikko. However, you may need to look at the bus line and the time the bus arrives at the bus stop, as well as check clearly where you are going and what bus line you are taking.

My outbound trip was from Tochigi to Nikko. Because the starting point was not in Tokyo, I couldn't redeem the physical coupon, so I chose an electronic ticket. The return trip can be used from Nikko to Asakusa. When getting on and off the bus in Nikko, you need to connect to the Internet and open QRCODE to confirm with the driver. E-tickets are much cheaper, I think they’re pretty good!

Convenient and Great Value! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Nikko Pass digital ticket made exploring Nikko super easy! It covers round-trip trains and local buses, so I didn’t have to worry about buying separate tickets. Using the QR code was hassle-free, and I saved a lot of time and money. Perfect for visiting Nikko’s temples, waterfalls, and scenic spots. Highly recommend it for a day trip or overnight stay!

A very pleasant trip with a tourist destination that combines culture and nature that is very beautiful, the service we got was also very extraordinary through our driver Bhalli, the day before the pick-up we were contacted via Whatsapp to confirm the schedule and during the trip Bhalli was active in answering our questions and had time to help us take photos, Bhalli also drove well and safely. We recommend this trip package to be taken for couples or families because of its comfort, friendliness and safety
