Things to do in Dieng Plateau

If you go to Dieng Plateau at dawn, it's much colder than you'd expect, so be sure to dress warmly (locals were wearing light down jackets). Perhaps because it was Sunday, the sunrise viewing spot at Sikunir Hill was packed with locals, making it hard to find a place to stand, but the sunrise was a worthwhile sight. Considering the travel time (about 4 hours one way), it's not necessarily a must-visit destination, but if you have extra time in Yogyakarta, it might be worth a trip.
