Fukuoka Tower

Although the lottery reservation system two weeks in advance made me think this place would be packed, I found upon arrival that the crowd control was excellent. There was no pressure from long queues, making for a very comfortable visiting experience. While Fukuoka Tower may not be the tallest building we've ever conquered, the panoramic views from this glass tower are truly on par with any famous landmark. The sunlight glinting off the distant ocean, city buildings, and elevated bridges, combined with the lush greenery nearby and stunning cumulonimbus clouds, offers a breathtaking vista of the entire city of Fukuoka, which is truly refreshing. Visiting the tallest building in every new city is a travel tradition my child and I have always maintained. Watching him excitedly stride across the floor in front of the massive floor-to-ceiling windows at Fukuoka Tower, I felt this habit added another wonderful parent-child memory. If you're planning a trip to Fukuoka, I highly recommend adding Fukuoka Tower to your itinerary. Remember to make your reservation online in advance (it's a lottery system); good views are worth waiting for and even more worth experiencing in person.

Tour guide Lin received us, very meticulous and gentle. It was a last-minute trip, but it turned out to be unexpectedly good. The scenery is very good, there are 6 attractions in a day, and the itinerary is well-arranged.👍 He takes pictures of me when I travel alone. Knowing that I wanted to go to Yufuin the next day, he kindly arranged my itinerary, and it was a very touching day, very pleasant.😁

1 hour complimentary parking is available if you park at the Beppu Tower carpark. please bring your ticket with you for validation! the view is beautiful. cheaper to buy at klook and just go straight up to 17th floor. can collect stamps too.

great fish viewing experience at this petite aquarium which offer great activity as well. we enjoy the dolphin splashing show and the walrus amusing act. feeding the ottar is also one of my favourite during our time there. inside the aquarium, there is a great cafe that offer Katsu curry rice which is tasteful and great. definitely will revisit this aquarium again: remember to take the bus as it had a stop right outside the aquarium

It was great! There were guides available who spoke Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English, and they were all very kind and repeatedly provided information and explanations. They answered all our questions immediately and were very thorough! I was worried because lunch wasn't included, thinking, 'Does that mean I can't take the free shuttle, and I'll have to eat onigiri on the bus?' But it turned out we could use a taxi shuttle (300 yen per person) and eat at restaurants near the Volcano Museum, which was a pleasant surprise! However, the price of the restaurant meal wasn't much different from the bulgogi that comes with the included lunch, so next time I'll probably opt for the lunch. Haha. On the other hand, the restaurant next to the museum had a diverse menu, and the food was delicious! Horse meat is famous, and so is Akagyu (red cattle)... Rice is also famous for being delicious, so we tried the Wagyu donburi, horse meat yukhoe bibimbap, and ramen. The Wagyu donburi was expensive but incredibly delicious. I don't recommend the horse meat yukhoe bibimbap. It tasted good, but when the rice, sauce, yukhoe, and raw egg were mixed, it became a bit mushy. The ramen was also delicious, and the rice itself was tasty! The unlimited miso soup and rice were an added bonus! Also, the milk soft-serve ice cream and volcanic ash coffee were delicious. Kusasenri was mostly obscured by fog, which was a bit disappointing, but it was nice to smell the sulfur, and the boat experience was a lot of fun! I highly recommend the boat ride! Anyway, I had a lot of worries, but the guides were skilled at leading the tour, everything went smoothly, and the schedule was kept perfectly, which was great! I'll probably use this service again! GoGoTrip? GoGoGo? Anyway... they also explained the history and myths, which was entertaining!

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fukuoka! The itinerary was well-organized and covered several beautiful coastal attractions in one day. The views were breathtaking, especially the seaside torii gate and scenic coastline. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke English clearly. Transportation was comfortable, and there was enough time at each stop to explore and take photos. A great way to experience Fukuoka’s natural beauty without worrying about transportation.

This day trip was amazing, got to see beautiful spot in Fukuoka in a day, although some part is a bit tiring but it was fun indeed. Relaxing bus and got to know different people on this day tour trip. Amazing.

I had originally booked a tour to Yanagawa and Itoshima, but due to an insufficient number of participants, the tour guide arranged an alternative itinerary for us. What I found truly excellent was their communication and coordination throughout the process, and their dedicated effort to reach out to us! It was incredibly reassuring. The itinerary was very well-planned and smooth, allowing us to visit several attractions in one day. The time management was excellent; we never felt rushed and had ample time to explore and take photos. The scenery at Shiraito Falls was very pleasant, and the Itoshima coastline was also beautiful. The views along the way were stunning, making it perfect for first-time visitors to Fukuoka who want to explore nearby areas. What I want to praise most is our tour guide! They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and patient. Throughout the trip, in addition to introducing the sights, they shared a lot of local information. They clearly explained meeting times, locations, and important notes, and constantly checked on the well-being of the group members. They even helped us take many beautiful photos. The entire day felt completely stress-free; it was more like going out with someone who knows the local area well. The tour guide managed the time perfectly, making the whole trip very smooth. This allowed us to comfortably enjoy the scenery, take photos, and create many wonderful memories. We are truly grateful for the tour guide's care throughout the day! Overall, this is a five-star tour that I would highly recommend! If I visit Fukuoka again and there are other routes available, I would definitely join again. Highly, highly recommended!
