Dazaifu Tenmangu tours

The tour package made our trip convenient. Our guide Jimmy was very enthusiastic and made the tour more enjoyable even with the rainy weather. The Yufuin no Mori train is a must to experience, and luckily the rain stopped during our ride (delayed but it was a blessing in disguise). For us, the itinerary was well planned with ample time to explore each destination. Make sure to bring a pair of slippers if you want to try the foot bath in Umijigoku. We really enjoyed our trip, thank you!

The itinerary was comfortable and enjoyable. Our guide, Kiyoshi Tajima, was very enthusiastic, providing detailed introductions to the tourist attractions and even the entire history of Fukuoka, as well as recommending local Fukuoka cuisine. This made us feel that the trip offered excellent value for money, and we look forward to our next journey.

This time, we were led by tour guide Zhang Qing. As soon as the tour guide got on the bus, he was very concerned about the passengers and explained the local history and culture in detail. Then, when we arrived in Yanagawa, he also helped us book seats at a local century-old eel restaurant. He really earnestly led the passengers to understand the local culture and accompanied us throughout the entire trip. He also enthusiastically shared famous local restaurants and souvenir shops in Fukuoka. Most importantly, it was already his off-work time in the evening when my phone fell in the taxi. Even though it was no longer his responsibility, I called him and asked him to talk to another taxi driver to see if he could help me find my phone. He was very concerned about the search situation. I was very flustered at the time, but tour guide Zhang Qing told me not to worry because he could use the "find" function to locate the phone. So he asked the driver to look at my location and search for it. Finally, he found the phone, and when I thanked him, he just said, "I'm glad we found it." I am very grateful to Zhang Qing. He is truly a very dedicated tour guide. I am very lucky to have participated in this tour. Thank you very much.

Thanks to guide Bae Tae-kwon, I had the trip of a lifetime! He pointed out the best and most affordable restaurants at Karato Market, so I got to enjoy delicious food at places even locals line up for. He also showed us an efficient route from Tanga Market to the arcade and Kokura Castle, allowing us to make the most of our sightseeing. His easy and entertaining explanations of Dazaifu Tenmangu's historical background made it more than just a simple tour. Furthermore, he kindly assisted me with personal hotel matters, which was a huge help since I don't speak Japanese. Despite my initial worries about the rain, it turned out to be a wonderful trip, all thanks to guide Bae Tae-kwon. For anyone visiting Fukuoka, I highly recommend this tour!

The meet up place is in Fukuoka Central Post Office but the bus was actually park in the next building. Our Group is composed of English, Chinese and Korean groups and there were 3 tour guides in our bus. All the places we visited were so nice. I find the time allotted for each itinerary is limited. So it will be a challenge to go around the whole place for those people with mobility issue. Also, reminder to bring Cash when you go yo Yufuin, a lot of them especially the streetfood vendors, accepts only cash. We walked all the way to a 711 store there to withdraw cash 😅 which eats a lot of our time. Btw, our tour guides sends us recommendations on the places we visited and it is helpful. our guide recommended to try the Hinagoten Soy sauce Ice cream- and it was sooo good! it tasted like Cheese Ice cream 🤯

The tour guide is nice, caring, professional & good time management! He provided a lot of travel tips, intro of the places & the route getting back to the pick-up point. He was also happy to help us to take photos. 2 of the guests got lost in 由布院 Yufuin and he immediately called them and tried to find them. The intinerary was delayed 30 mins because of that 2 lost guests, which totally not the guide's fault. But he kept apolozing to us. Sure I dont blame him as I believe he did his best on this accident. Highly recommended this tour/ this tour agency! They also got a few other tours from Hakata.

Participating in this trip with a 50% discount was extremely cost-effective! The itinerary, from 8:00 AM to the arrival at Hakata Station at 6:30 PM, allowed for a full day of enjoyment. The itinerary and transportation arrangements were very smooth! The 3-hour tour of Yufuin provided ample time to admire the autumn foliage and sample delicious food. In Beppu, in addition to a short visit to the hot springs, there was enough time to soak our feet in the hot springs and taste hot spring eggs, which was a great experience. The only slight drawback was the short amount of time at the final stop, Dazaifu, and the fact that it was almost dusk, with many shops preparing to close. There wasn't enough time to visit the garden with its rich Japanese atmosphere and long history, which was a bit of a pity!

Our itinerary for this trip was: starting from Tenjin city center ➡️ Itoshima Hana Shio Pudding ➡️ Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) at Futamigaura ➡️ Tsukamoto Fish Market ➡️ Miyajidake Shrine ➡️ Munakata Shrine. The driver was very thoughtful! His service attitude was incredibly friendly! He even recommended a delicious seafood restaurant, which my family also thoroughly enjoyed 👍🏽 The car was clean and tidy, and the entire journey went smoothly and perfectly 💯
