Shizuoka Prefecture

For someone that comes from Singapore and has never seen snow or Ski before, this was the best experience I have ever had yet so far! Fujiyama ski resort is about 2hours away from Shinjuku and even though it’s a small ski world, you will appreciate it if you come from a hot country like myself! Everything about the services were amazing, the coaches are very detailed when conducting the training and would ensure that we at least know how to ski and stop before letting us roam around ourselves. The weather up at Fujiyama is also perfect, not super cold for anyone wondering, but cool enough to have a blast experience! Lastly, the timing given for us felt plenty, after training and lunch, we still have about 2.5hours left to ourselves, more than enough to take some photos and enjoy the scenery. If you are in Tokyo and would like to step out of the city for a day, this is the perfect day plan for you! :D

great experience, transportation okay, guide and driver are so professional and gave really good services. ski equipment and the facilities all good, and the most epic things is Fuji Mountain view

We had a fantastic time today. Yung-Chu (Andrew) made us very comfortable and welcome. He answered all our questions. He also always keep us informed through the whole journey. We highly recommend this company and driver.

Our tour guide, Mr. He, was fantastic 👍 and extremely dedicated. He provided explanations throughout the trip and showed great care for us. The itinerary was well-planned, and the timing was excellent. Everyone had a very enjoyable and satisfying experience. The service exceeded our expectations. The pictures say everything. The hotel is right besides to the Gotmeba Premium Outlet. It looks new and clean.

Toyoko Inn Gotemba is in a perfect location—right in front of Gotemba Station, which makes it super convenient for travelers. There’s also a free shuttle bus to the Gotemba Premium Outlets that stops right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for both shopping and sightseeing around Mt. Fuji!

words can’t even explain the glamour and beautiful hotel! our room had a Fuji view that was unbelievable. the room was huge and the shower/ bath too with amazing water pressure. the breakfast was so delious with many choices from western style to traditional Japanese. we did go carting at the speedway which was super fun and fast!

I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could! The location is excellent - just a 40-second walk to the right from the subway exit, making it super convenient to explore Shizuoka Station. The hotel reception staff and restaurant employees are all very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. Highly recommended!

There’s a lot to be said for staying in Gotemba Dormy inn. The rooms are super clean without a shadow of a doubt and the staff who are working there are friendly and helpful as always. Highly recommended.
