Perfect package for my 12-yo son and me as we have never ski before! We had Trace and Yuyu as our instructors, who came all the way from Osaka to host our trip to the Fujiyama Yeti Snow Ski resort. Trace has been wonderful in rendering the basic lessons for skiing, complete with safety measures and the necessary equipments that we must have for a good beginner experience. We were blessed with the majestic view of Mount Fuji all day long and had fun skiing and playing in the snow. I would recommend package A for you if you are also a first timer like myself. The cafe also serves vegetarian and seafood/fish meal options. Very easy to order using the machine which accepts cash and/or visa/IC/Pasmo. The facilities at Yeti were complete with comfortable changing rooms, toilets, lockers (there is a coin exchange machine on-site if you need 100 yen coins) as the lockers only take coins payment. Overall, a memorable experience for ski, snow, and Mount Fuji.

pity the snow came late, hence it was more ice than snow. Also, the gradient is quite steep at certain parts of the beginners’ slope, hence not exactly considered a beginners’ slope.

6-10min walk from station (JR and bus station); easy check in; good variety for breakfast and free drinks from 3pm-11pm; friendly staff; tourist spots are walkable from the hotel

A very charming hotel, even from the outside, and it's right next to the Takayama train and bus station. Also, at the entrance, there are small hot springs that everyone can use to soak their feet. You have to take off your shoes to walk around the hotel, as the floor is tatami. The room was very beautiful and spacious, especially considering the size of hotel rooms in Japan. The staff helped us send our luggage to our next hotel and were very friendly. There is a public onsen, but also a private one. There is usually a long line to use the three private ones, but it's worth it for the experience. We loved it and it's a wonderful option for people with tattoos.

Located right next to Takayama Station, it's extremely convenient. This time I stayed in a twin room, and the room was very large. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and there was a washing machine, microwave, frying pan, and soup pot. You can buy Hida beef from a nearby supermarket and cook it. There's also a small balcony where you can dry clothes. Next time I come to Takayama, I will definitely stay here again.

everything is amazing! it was my first time in takayama and first time to try onsen and this hotel did not disappoint!! i love how convenient the place is! and if you want a private onsen experience this is the place. Our hotel room is clean and has everything you need! what i love is they provide pajama set so you can pack light. i promise to go back!! ❤️

Loved it and had a great experience! I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Takayama. It's very close to the station. I recommend walking along the railroad tracks from the Nohi Bus Center to avoid the traffic lights and easily reach the hotel. Renting the private onsen in the hotel for 45 minutes for 2000 yen is also a nice option, and they even provide two complimentary bottles of milk. The only minor drawback was that the hairdryer in the private onsen wasn't very powerful; the Salonia hairdryer in the room worked better for my long hair.

Nice, clean hotel in a great location next to the station. The staff are friendly, hardworking, and very helpful! The room was a good size, and I really appreciated having our own washing machine. Breakfast was a little busy/chaotic though.
