walkable distance from hotel to gotemba outlet. Room is small with tokyo style but with Mpp view. Free ice, Tea , coffee but dont have water refill. Provide free and private onsen, check in and out are fast.

There’s a lot to be said for staying in Gotemba Dormy inn. The rooms are super clean without a shadow of a doubt and the staff who are working there are friendly and helpful as always. Highly recommended.

This is a new hotel very close to Gotemba Outlet. It has plenty of parking spaces, so it is highly recommended to drive there. The rooms with a view of Mount Fuji are very spacious and comfortable, equipped with an induction cooker, pots, pans, bowls, chopsticks, and other simple kitchen utensils, as well as a washer/dryer. This is very convenient for families who need to wash clothes, but the capacity is only 7kg, which is a bit small for guests in a family room. In addition, each guest room has its own independent Wi-Fi, so you cannot connect to Wi-Fi when you leave the room. Breakfast is a refined affair. This hotel does not offer telephone service. After checking in at the front desk, a QR code is provided as a key. If you have any problems, you may need to go to the front desk in person to inquire.

Toyoko Inn Gotemba is in a perfect location—right in front of Gotemba Station, which makes it super convenient for travelers. There’s also a free shuttle bus to the Gotemba Premium Outlets that stops right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for both shopping and sightseeing around Mt. Fuji!

professional ran property. my wife and two kids stayed in the private Onsen suite and really enjoyed our stay. The garden/pond was nice to take a walk in with the kids in the morning. the property is well maintained and the room was immaculate with cleaning detail. we als visited the public onsen and the kids loved it. especially the cold bath. we will stay next time we are in the area for sure. This is a resort. we also enjoyed a rotating sushi spot nearby.

The staff can communicate effectively in English. There is free parking, breakfast is included, and you can see Mount Fuji from the restaurant. There is also an observation deck on the 4th floor with a distant view of Mount Fuji. The room is large enough to open two 28-inch suitcases for an extended period...Besides the water dispenser in the lobby, there are no complimentary bottled water, but there are vending machines.

Hotel is right across the bus station going to Subashiri or Gotemba jump off point for Mt Fuji, so if you're traveling for this purpose, this hotel is the perfect for your stay. We booked the day before and after our climb. They can hold your luggage with no charge if you are to check-in again upon your return from Mt Fuji. If you will also explore other attractions, you can ride buses going to other attractions like Kawaguchiko and many more in the same bus station or ride the train- train station is also just right across.. they also offer buffet breakfast, though the options are limited, it was more than sufficient fir us, plus the tub is superb after the climb to soak your body in warm water.. overall, it was a convenient stay for us, as we didn't have to walk far after the climb or book a cab.

The staff were incredibly polite and professional. Check-in was swift and for the check-out, just leave the hotel before 10:00am.
The complimentary breakfast was varied and surprisingly good, offering a mix of Japanese and Western options. It was a great way to start the day without needing to find a separate restaurant. The fresh bread rolls were excellent.
The free amenities were also a plus.
My request for a high floor & with the view of Mt. Fuji was accomodated. Sad thing though, was that on out first morning, it was very cloudy and there's no view of Mt. Fuji. But on our final day, it was very clear and can see the majestic beauty of the Mt. Fuji.
The only setback was the location, about 15 min. walking distance from Gotemba station. There's a local bus service but has only 1 trip per day that charges a flat fare of 180yen. From the hotel to Gotemba station at 9:43am. But it is a good jump-off point between Fuji Kawaguchiko & Hakone.

We had a wonderful day tour with Mr Alex as our guide and driver. The pre-tour instructions were clear and pickup was right on time, which made the start of the day smooth and stress-free. Mr Alex was friendly, professional, and a very safe driver throughout the journey — plus, he’s easy on the eyes too! 😁
Our first stop was Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine. The climb can be a little challenging at the beginning, but it’s absolutely manageable We were given about an hour to explore, which was sufficient if you pace yourself and come prepared. Next, we headed to Oshino Hakkai. It was a pleasant stop with lovely scenery.
Our final stop was Gotemba Premium Outlets. While the 2-hour duration felt a bit short — especially after queuing for food — we only managed to cover part of the outlet. I’d recommend planning your shopping route in advance to make the most of the time.
Overall, it was a well-organised and enjoyable tour, made even better by Mr Alex’s warm personality. 👍🏻
