My daughter and I had a wonderful experience learning how to make kimchi from scratch. The ingredients were prepared for each station so we did all the chopping and layering the ingredients between the leaves of the napa cabbage. It was a small class so we got to meet other people traveling as well. We got to take home the kimchi and cant wait to make several dishes with it. Kimchi tofu stew, kimchi fried rice and as a side dish. The class was less than an hour so we were able to fit it in to our busy schedule. We also had delicious kimchi pancake after the class was completed. I'm happy we took the class and definitely recommend to a anyone wanting to learn how to make kimchi.

An absolute MUST-DO experience in Seoul!
Our family took a cooking class yesterday with Park, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish!
Park was absolutely amazing. His English is fantastic, making communication completely effortless, and we had so many interesting conversations throughout the session.
The dishes we prepared were not only extraordinarily delicious, but also visually stunning—true works of art!
A huge bonus for families: we brought our 4-year-old daughter along, and Park was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. He included her in the process in such a wonderful, engaging way, making her feel so special and involved.
Our whole family enjoyed every single moment. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re visiting Seoul, this experience is an absolute must! ❤️

The experience was great. The monk described the practices of temple food in Korea for about 30 minutes, and it was all live translated. After that, he demonstrated what we were going to cook, and then it was our turn to cook and eat it. The cooking was done in groups of four. The whole class took about 1h and 30 minutes.

I was lucky enough to have a solo lesson and I couldn’t be happier. Naomi is so kind and a great teacher. I feel like I learned a lot about the recipes and cuisine in Korea as a whole. Definately recommend.

We chose this specific cooking class because they offer other Korean dishes aside from the basic options (bibimbap, japchae, bulgogi) we knew how to cook. Upon booking, they confirmed via whatsapp our schedule and what menu we want to cook. We chose haemul samgyetang (chicken ginseng soup with seafood). Ester was a very good instructor. She introduced the recipe and provided clear instructions. She also made additional cucumber salad for us to eat with the dish we cooked. Highly recommended if you want to try Korean cooking class!

I love this cooking course. Jiny speaks good English and was very welcoming. Small group cooking feels at ease, Jiny concentrated on each individual making cooking feels at ease. I learnt to cook authentic Korea dishes with detailed recipes from Jiny. 👍

Sara is wonderful! She truly enjoys sharing and teaching Korean culture and cooking. I loved the cooking class, Sara shares practical cooking techniques that you can easily use at home. The meal offered customized options for those who are gluten-free or vegetarian. Highly recommend taking Sara's delightful class.

A must have experience for your trip! To start, you are in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Small class size (10 people) allows the instructor Sam to familiarize with everybody as well as communication between each other. Was impressed with the class’ diversity with country of origin. Plenty knowledge shared from Sam and laughs had with one another. Feel good knowing the leftover kimchi you make goes directly to impoverished citizens. But you also get to taste your own creation on its own as well, plus cooking pancake with aged kimchi complimented with pork and tofu.

We had such a fun experience with the cooking class! We really enjoyed visiting the local market, learning about the ingredients, and then preparing the dishes ourselves. Our instructor was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. It was a great way to experience Korean culture beyond the usual sightseeing, and we would definitely recommend it.
