WOWPASS: Prepaid Card for Cashless Payment in Korea

It is very convenient to have this card. Highly recommended for any tourist in South Korea. You can download the app to monitor your funds. Easy to recharge, there are a lot of machines for anyone to charge their cards.

Was able to use this in almost all stores and also use it as a tmoney card. would highlty recommend the wowpass. wow pass machines are located in major stations and also in the airport and some tourist spots

It was very fast and efficient if you want to go cashless. It offers a variety of options so you can have a hassle-free transactions during your stay. Definitely very user-friendly as well. It helped me roam around Jeju city with great convenience and ease. Well recommended. 🫶🏻👌🏻

Easy to use within Seoul. most of the stall even streetfood are able to use. only a handy of street stalls doesn't accept it. However. do take not you are not allowed to do refund in airport which I miss out. I would recommend using a Credit card for payment with no overseas transaction fees like trust for example.

I was not be able to redeemed my Wow pass on the day I arrive at incheon terminal 1 due to almost 12 midnight and the CU convinience store was asking me the Bar code not the QR code in order for me to get the wow pass. Train/ Subway was close at 12 midnight. I don’ recommend this wow pass if your flight was early morning or late night

Getting this pass has been an amazing experience throughout my trip both in Seoul & Busan. It’s very convinient & easy as you’ll be able to reload at any train station or hotels as long as it supports the card. Worth getting it!

This time I had a great experience using Wowpass in Korea! After pre-ordering on KLOOK, I arrived at Jeju Airport and got the physical card with the six-digit voucher. At the same time, I used Taiwan dollars to store Korean won (with no handling fee). The exchange rate is better than exchanging currency at the Bank of Taiwan. After storing the value, I can also withdraw it directly at the Wowpass machine. Receive cash (handling fee may apply). Wowpass also includes a T-money function. T-money is used to take public transportation. This time when renting a car and driving yourself, there is no stored-value T-money. (Wowpass and T-money share the same card, but they need to be stored separately) Wowpass can be used for shopping, dining at restaurants, market stores, parking fees, etc. It can even be used to buy stamps and send postcards at the post office today. Bind the Wowpass App to view all consumption details at a glance, so you don’t need to carry a lot of cash with you, which is very convenient!

I originally purchased it for the purpose of including T-MONEY. The convenience of this card depends on whether there is a machine within the scope of your activities, so you must first confirm whether there is a machine near your accommodation or in the station. Although its function is similar to a credit card, it still has some conveniences over a credit card. For example, you can instantly confirm your entry and exit details, you can exchange currency instantly at the machine, and you can also directly deposit Taiwan dollars into Korean won, and you can still use it if you don't use it up in the end. It is really convenient to refund coins directly at the airport machine. And compared with credit cards, the risk is smaller and it is easier to control the budget. Please note that the card is valid for six years.

Wow pass has been terrific, it’s allowed us to purchase things as a credit card and easily use their transportation system. Only downside would be lack of WowPass stations, thankfully there is one not too far from us which we can use to easily Top up.

You can use it anywhere with just one card, for subway, bus, and shopping. It's good for managing expenses, and charging kiosks are easy to find. Major subway stations always have kiosks available, so I truly recommend getting one for friends planning a trip to Korea
