Uluru, Ayers Rock Segway Tour

We took the sunrise tour, and even though the guide spoke English and I couldn't understand everything, it was still very interesting! I was expecting a full loop, but it seems that due to heavy rain a few days prior, the road conditions weren't good, so we only walked a portion of the path. Although a small refund was issued, it still felt a bit disappointing. It also seemed like the original loop itinerary was changed to be similar to the afternoon sunset tour. Overall, I would still highly recommend it.

I find this activity quite enjoyable and something new. The tour guide was great, we were able to stop for photos (non sensitive areas) as we ride along the Uluru. Interesting stories/history. Totally recommend this activity for those that don't want to walk all day long around the rock 😆 We heard kids and other people walking and saw us on the segways that they should have booked it. Tip: wear sunglasses or protective goggles because it could be windy and not comfortable having sand in your face/eyes.

This is highly recommended if you don't wanna spend hours walking round the base of uluru. The tour brings you around the entire rock on a segway. Our guide, Danielle is friendly and really enthusiastic! She shared with us stories about Uluru at the multiple stops. She was also patient in helping us take photos. Don't worry if you have no experience in segway, there will be a short tutorial before the tour starts. They also provide helmet and safety gears.

At the beginning, we will take you to see the sunrise and have breakfast. In cold weather, coffee and hot water will warm your body. If you don't understand English, you will be given a guide machine. When riding the balance bike, there will be explanations at some scenic spots, so you can learn more about the history and culture of Uluru.
