Uluru Day Tours
Explore Uluru!
Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is a massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory’s arid "Red Centre".
Uluru is sacred to indigenous Australians and is thought to have started forming around 550 million years ago. It’s within Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, which also includes the 36 red-rock domes of the Kata Tjuta formation.

Great tour around the Uluru. One thing I do wish could be improved is the time spent at the cultural centre - there is so much to read, absorb and learn there. Also do note that if you don't regularly drink alcohol, you might experience a faster heartbeat after taking alcohol at the sunset viewing point (in that case might be better to stick to non-alcoholic drinks instead). The tour guide was lovely, she really engaged us with her talks!

The day tour of Uluru is really interesting and amazing. The tour guy Yda is a really knowledgeable and professional tour guide. He will text you before the day of the tour to make sure the pick-up time and you will also receive an email a few days before the tour. Just a reminder, you need to purchase the park pass ($35) by yourself, which is not included in the tour since April. During the tour, they were told that some places are sensitive sites, so they couldn’t take a photo in that field because it is an Aboriginal secret area. The cultural center also does not allow taking pictures inside. The dinner offered BBQ, but the flies are everywhere which is a little bit annoying, but the sunset was beautiful! Overall is a fabulous journey!

Standing before Uluru, especially at sunrise or sunset, is breathtaking. The rock changes colours with the light, shifting from deep reds to glowing oranges and purples, creating a magical atmosphere. The vast desert landscape around it makes you feel both small and connected to something larger.

We took a day trip, it was a small group, and the guide was very professional. They shared many stories about the Aboriginal people and Uluru, and took us to Mutitjulu Waterhole, the Mala Walk, and the Cultural Centre. The itinerary was very relaxed, allowing us to get up close to Uluru. Afterwards, we went to a sunset viewing spot where someone had prepared food and drinks for us. We finished eating just in time to watch the sunset. The sunlight on Uluru was golden and absolutely stunning! On a side note, there were quite a few flies there, so if you're bothered by them, I recommend buying a fly net and only taking it off for photos.

A lovely tour to the Uluru at night, where our guide Lucas (I hope I remember his name right, he's American) gave detailed attentions about the constellations, the stories and myths around them, as well as telescope viewing of some of the constellations and planets. It was a full moon night so we got a brighter sky but no Milky Way, if you go on a new moon day you might see the Milky Way

Lovely experience walking around the Field of Lights and watching sunrise over Uluru. We could also see Kata-Tjuta clearly that morning. Our guide was very enthusiastic in helping us taking photos and showing us around. During sunset there was also hot tea/coffee/chocolate served with biscuits and shortbreads.
