Things to do in Lake Ashi

The tour was quite enjoyable. The nice weather made the tour even better. We were able to see Mount Fuji very clearly. The tour duration was well-paced. Our guide, Wanting, was quite friendly. Her English and French speaking skills, as well as her accent, are very good. During the lake cruise, going directly to the top deck is important for enjoying the view. The place where we had the lunch break was charming, but since the food was prepared for the group, the fish and chicken were cold. Choosing the meat dish is a better option since it cooks at the table. During the village visit, you should definitely try the local grapes. Our tour driver was good, it would just be nice if the vehicle were a bit newer.

Our experience with this tour exceeded every expectation, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Erik. He was extraordinarily collaborative, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire day. Despite the weather being against all prognostications and forecasts we were able to catch a breathtaking, once-in-a-lifetime glimpse of Mt. Fuji for a few magical minutes! It was truly a highlight. The only minor downside was that we didn’t have quite enough time to properly visit the Hakone Shrine, as we all would have loved to stay a little longer and get the Tori pictures. Overall, an amazing experience made exceptional by Erik. Highly recommended!

Participating in this Hakone day trip was a very fulfilling experience overall. In just one day, we visited many famous attractions and enjoyed a variety of scenery, making it truly worthwhile! Special thanks to our tour guide, Xiaoyu, who was not only friendly along the way but also provided very detailed explanations for each featured spot, photo locations, meeting times, meeting points, and important reminders. This allowed everyone to easily keep track of the itinerary without worrying about getting lost or missing the meeting time, ensuring a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable journey. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Hakone in a limited amount of time and visit multiple attractions all at once! Satori was an excellent driver and guide. He kept us on schedule and provided picture updates along the way. He made sure the day was extra special by ensuring we had photo memories as a group. When the lines were long at our stops, he was patient with us. When we were done early at a stop, he kept the tour moving. Very pleasant and stress free experience.

Good trip to see Mt Fuji from different views and to experience other local sights at the same time. Our guide YaYa, is very good. She is knowledgeable and good at keeping the group to be on time for all the rides.

The tour was excellent. The day was perfect; we did everything. Our driver was really nice. Our tour guide, Peter, was excellent. He spoke very well English and very knowledgeable, he provided all the necessary details for this trip. This is highly recommended. Also, don't forget the bullet train; you have to experience it. The gondola and the pirate boat were great. Everything was perfect. The ride was smooth from Tokyo to Mount Fuji. It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop anything. A great day filled with a variety of amazing sights and experiences even though Mt Fuji was a little shy. Will, our tour guide, was amazing: knowledgeable, friendly, willing to help, a top tier tour guide.
